AVOID like the plague. I obtained a loan and did not receive payment information. I contacted them asking for payment amount and address. Finally was told to pay a 3rd party "Firstmark" who is a "processor".. they do this so when Firstmark violates the law and you try to hold them to account, they say you have no contract with them. They do this to add late fees. I refused to do pay a party not in the contract. I had Bank of America send payments to the address in the contract. They were not cashed for a while - I was told the checks were "lost". They ended listing the 1st 2 payments as "delinquent" on my credit report - the only negative I have ever had. I just discovered it. I disputed it and they "verified" it was accurate to the credit agency. They have not yet answered my email. My next step will be to sue them if they don't fix it immediately.
Make sure you want to finance because once you sign papers your provider is paid. I had a consultation with a dentist and he gave me an estimate of charges. Sat down with finance, was told it would not affect my credit. I did sign however I didn’t think I was signing to have them receive loan right away. Was told it would be 18k to 20k. Received in the mail papers from Proceed for an exact amount of 20k. How did all this happen and I’m at a loss. I’m so upset as my credit and livelihood is at hand. In order to cancel because they state they cannot initiate a cancellation on my behalf. I have to in writing ask them to cancel, it’s a specific thing I have to say. I’ll try to include photo of copy. I don’t trust the doctors or this company at all because I feel I was mislead.
Paid off my account in 9/21. 2/23 I receive a text that looks like spam. Some link and a small amount I supposedly owe. I call fraud department. Advise them my account has been paid off. They look up account see that I made a 28k payoff. I have received nothing from them in 17 months. They advise me I owe 167.00. I ask for proof and calculations. The email is a screen shot of basically nothing. I call again they advise me it was there mistake. Inform me the account is now paid off and I would receive documents regarding closure. 2 weeks later more texts and emails of delinquency. Call back no record of last call. Danny the CS rep who is 3 cents short of nickel and more worthless than a corrupt politician refuses to help. If possible avoid this company you have been warned.
I have used proceed finance this is a great company. Use them most finance companies don’t have the best rapport bc who is it that complains.
Denied a dental loan because of "serious delinquency", which I have none of according to TransUnion, Experian and Equifax. Luckily, Care credit jumped at the opportunity to help.
Great communication, easy to work with, and all around great experience! Would recommend to anybody.
How awful to get all your financial numbers together & then repeatedly FAIL the generated questions only to be told you have to go in person to sign this application
Horrible company that lies directly to your face. Spoke to a Jon Agnew who said that anyone doctor can qualify for any financing as long as they offer it to their patients. When I asked who I was blatantly lied to I received no response.
I've had extensive dental work done throughout my adult life thank you genetics and insurance doesn't cover most of it. As a result, I have had to finance most of my dental work using patient financing programs. I am sick of getting ripped off by all of the "interest free" scams out there and the ridiculously high monthly payments. Proceed Finance is different. You can chose from several long-term repayment options and l never have to change what I need to pay every month. I was able to get a $20,000 loan and only pay $300/ month. Very affordable and they understand people in my situation.
