My recent trip to Ace Hardware took an unfortunate turn when I encountered an employee named Jameson. I sought his assistance in finding a specific item, but his response was incredibly disappointing. Not only did he lack knowledge about the products, but he also displayed a complete disinterest in helping me. As if that wasn't bad enough, Jameson's disrespectful attitude left me taken aback. He seemed more focused on chatting with his colleagues than attending to customers. Customer service should be a priority for any business, and Jameson's behavior fell far short of what's expected. I sincerely hope that Ace Hardware takes this feedback seriously and addresses these issues to provide a better shopping environment for customers in the future.
Best nursery I've ever been to. You can tell they love the plants here. Immaculate vegetable and herb selection. They even have a rare plant case. The most beautiful bromieliads. A cactus greenhouse with perfect specimens. The aquatic selection is to die for, including pitchers and pond lillies . Just go right now you won't regret the trip.
I been coming to be Ace Hardware for 8 years buying plants and other products for my place and seen a high turn over here. Pretty place. Today I returned a chair and umbrella back that I bought over the weekend because it was going to be used for a outing that never happened. The mgr of 25 years said if I did not have my receipt I could not get a refund of any kind. So I had to look. As he walked away he told the lady like I said I told her. So I had to correct him and say as you explained . For him to be a mgr of 25 years not knowing how to retrieve information without a receipt and how to speak to the customer is the reason why this place has high turn over.. I found my receipt and received a refund. I might be back. So ugly. By now they should know me. A repeat customer. SMH. Really know how to make a person feel valued. My wife and I were returning from dinner tonight and noticed a nice selection of trees and plants in the front of the store. It was a few minutes before 7PM and I was wanting to take a look at the tree selection. We planned to return the next day to purchase a few items. As we approached the plant area in the parking lot near the garden center, a bearded man pushing a fat tire bike yelled out "We're closed!" At first I thought I was being yelled at by a homeless person, then another man walking toward Atlantic Blvd wearing a black shirt yelled "He said we're closed!" When I realized I was being talked to by store employees I told them I was aware and just wanted to take a quick look. I found this behavior to be out of line with the "Helpful Hardware" brand. I normally do not take the time to write reviews online, however my experience might encourage others to decide what I have decided ... to spend my money somewhere else.
Puts Home Depot to shame. Literally, help around every corner. Knowledgeable help. Yes, prices are slightly higher, and they lack the inventory of the box stores. But for everyday needs, they are way better. Nice people, too
I came by looking for a yard tool and this guy named Wayne happend to walk by and asked if I needed any help. I really did man I had a good conversation and ended up buying the right stuff for my yard this guy is amazing. First time customer and I will be back for sure.
-Exceptionally helpful employees with actual knowledge of their wares -Great selection of hardware, especially if you need more specialized parts -Locally-owned If you need large building materials you're probably gonna have go to HD, for everything else go to Proctor's
I was so happy they added this within walking distance of our house! The staff is always very friendly and for such a small store, they have a lot of stuff I look for. It almost completely eliminates the need of even going to a big box store.
Awe Yesh Shrimp Company does a pop-up on the weekends, Fresh Mayport white shrimp for $10/lb. Came home with shrimp caught that morning, can’t beat it
Old school core to this place. Open hardware bins and huge selection in every category. Unexpectedly decent fishing/boating section too. Not your average ACE at all! Very helpful and friendly staff.
