I am beyond disappointed. My mom used them today and they damaged a near mint suede day bed and chase living room set due to not wrapping furniture before moving. Scuff marks everywhere. Scuffed up her brand new mahogany bedroom set.They sent three unprofessional movers. Furniture needs to be cleaned and charged my mom almost 700 dollars. I wish I was there but this is beyond disappointing. My mom stated that the owner were supposed to be calling her back but have yet to do so. Mind you it was less that a 5 mile move and it's upsetting that they cut so many corners and cause all this damage. I hope you reimburse in full for this poor service . 6/23/23 930a-12p
We chose Prosser’s Moving because they have been in operation since 1904. A company that has been in the moving business for that long must know what they’re doing, and that guess proved to be correct. David and Kam couldn’t have been nicer and they handled our belongings with care. The move went quickly, and we are very happy to have everything in the new place all safe and sound. I highly recommend Prosser’s Moving.
Love these guys! I’ve used them several times over the last 5 or 6 years. On moving day the guys come and they are always so happy and make moving day fun! I’ve never had anything damaged or broken by them. I can’t say enough good things about these guys! If you aren’t sure if you want to spend the money on movers, I’ve wondered the same thing. Then I hired movers and it is worth every penny!
Prosser's helped me pack and move across the city a few weeks ago. They were on time, very efficient, and very friendly. Unfortunately, it was cold and raining the whole day, but that did not stop the guys from getting everything done in a timely fashion. They unloaded the boxes wherever I wished, and were very careful handling my items. Nothing was broken and everything was fully accounted for. Their pricing was very reasonable and competitive. They helped make moving a much less anxiety ridden activity and I greatly appreciate that. I will definitely utilize them again the next time I move. After having help like that once, I will not be able to go back to moving on my own!
Recently had a local move with Prosser moving, and these guys were top notch! Dwight, Kameron and Tommie took great care of our things and went above and beyond. Would highly recommend using Prosser for a stress free experience and polite service. Outstanding!
Good movers. Fast and reasonable in price. Best price for overnight holds. We were moving and needed a two night hold for our things before moving into our new house. This was a local move with the houses being just a couple of miles apart. Prosser's fee for the overnight hold was more than reasonable as some movers wanted to charge over $400/night per truck. The guys conducting the move were organized and efficient. There were the normal water and smoke breaks, but overall I was satisfied with the speed at which they moved. Tim was the driver/lead on the job and did a good job of keeping things moving and stacking the items on the truck. On the unloading day at the new house Tim was again the driver/lead, but had an almost entirely new crew. I was a bit worried as physically the crew was not what I'd had a couple of days before, but Tim kept them moving and they finished in pretty good time. Just be cognizant if this happens and make sure to speak to the office as I do think things could have come out not in my favor if I hadn't voiced my reservations with the crew makeup for the 2nd day. I did have a couple of items damaged. You have to understand mistakes happen, furniture is heavy and things might get dinged. To their credit, Prosser's came out, took a look at things and for a slightly ripped couch they sent out an upholstery repair guy who stitched up the couch to where we can't even tell where the repair was. They stood by their work and made a mistake right which is the sign of a good company in my book. I would definitely use Prosser's again and would recommend them to others too based on the quality of the move, the price and them standing by their warranty.
This was my first time hiring movers. Seriously, changed my life. I will never move my own stuff again. I had a lot of big items and boxes, so I didn't use the packing portion. The two men that loaded our stuff were quick and careful. They didn't waste any time, and even came in under the time estimate on the quote. I also really appreciated that for the most part, they wore masks while inside my home. It was a hot and humid day, but they still did their best. If you're on the fence on hiring movers, definitely take the chance. Their rates came in under the other two I looked at in the area, and appears to be locally owned. 10 out of 5 stars.
Recently, used Prosser's Moving & Storage Company to move out apartment from Creve Coeur to St Charles. No complaints. The crew showed up on time and was friendly and cooperative. Price charged was reasonable. Shall use their professional services again should we need to.
We had an odd situation that caused Prosser to make some accommodations for us. They had no problem doing so and could not be more friendly. I'm out of state and was nervous that my mother had to go and deal with Prosser. However, Dan and the rest of the team could not have been more helpful in making the situation as easy for her as possible. They care about the people they work with and the goods they move. Highly recommended.
Unprofessional on the phone! Super expensive in comparison to others in town! Totally NO! Happy didnt work with them!
