Was treated by NP Kristen Nicole Willis. Please know your rights as a patient if you seek treatment at this facility. If needed file a complaint with the Washington Medical Comission. My experience was dehumanizing and disrespectful. My issues were not addressed. My credit card and insurance were billed however. I left multiple messages with Jenn at front desk to have a supervisor arrange a new doctor. She never called back. This is literal negligence.
I went in to this facility for SEVERE anxiety attacks. The way I was treated by the female P.A. I saw today....she literally made me feel 50x worse, and was absolutely no help. They advertise all the time how important it is to talk to your health care team about mental health and this experience made me throw my hands up and say...I am done dealing with health care providers like this. To be made to feel like your being kicked when your down, and your reaching for help and hit a big brick wall!!!! In the form if your health care team! No thanks!
NEW PATIENT HEADS UP!! If you think your first appointment at least 4 months out is an exam, you are wrong. It's a cash cow chat with the doctor & not your wellness care visit. You will also have to pay extra co-pay for labs & go to the lab for those. All about money these days!! Make your appointment for your annual physical at the same time you make your new patient appointment to avoid another 4 month wait.
Went to urgent care and they barely examined me, told me to get sudafed, and that was it. Made an appointment with family medicine and they were only able to give me a virtual appointment and after asking if they’d be able to actually care for me that way, the receptionist reassured me saying that it works just as well. In the appointment, the doctor basically told me that without an in person examination there was nothing she could do and told me to take a different over the counter medicine. Absurdly unhelpful. Do not recommend
Providence West Oly supported us through an awful situation/poor experience with a provider at their facility. They made the situation right immediately and made my son feel truly cared for. They have been incredibly responsive, comforting, and helpful. Plus, if you can get in with Dr. Wheeler, you'll never want a different PCP in your life!
The good part is that the doctors and staff are all super nice and friendly. The doctor I saw did a really great job making me comfortable. However, this place is so huge it creates a lot of problems. The different sections don’t seem to communicate effectively; I had a pelvic exam for some complications and when I went in for the requested ultrasound the next day the doctor had clearly not read my file. She had no idea why I was there so she seemed to just do the standard procedure and it makes me nervous that she didn’t check the correct areas. Also trying to contact them nearly gave me an aneurysm! One doc tried calling me with my lab results while I was in the exam room at their office and so she left a voicemail, but the number she left just played an ear splitting dial tone. I tried to call a few different numbers before getting in touch, then I was transferred and put on hold, all while sitting just outside the door! So much bureaucracy everywhere these days, I wish I could just call and speak with my doctor.
I’ve never had major problems with the front desk or billing with this clinic. They have been our primary care clinic for over 6 years. My current provider Lindsay Nourse is by far the best provider I have ever had. She is so kind and caring. What really set her apart for me is that she really, truly listens to your problems and respects your input and comfort in your medical care. Multiple times she has asked if tests/medication/methods of care are okay with me before going forward. She is also SO great with my children. My youngest has autism and she has been patient and accommodating. We have never had a problem or delay in referrals for his therapies. We are moving soon and I am so sad to be leaving her. I highly recommend requesting her as your primary care provider.
I've had great experiences with Providence West Olympia Family Medicine, as well as their Immediate Care. This is a beautiful, new building that is always clean. The receptionists are patient and helpful. The medical assistants are very professional and pass along all concerns/questions to my provider. My primary care provider is the best I've ever had Molly Mellon, ARNP and I'm so fortunate i lucked into her as my PCP. She is very knowledgeable and listens carefully. She takes what I know about my body into consideration and we come up with the best possible route of care together, as a team. Thank you to all the staff for providing such a pleasant, professional healing environment. Cheers to you!
Unfortunately, like everywhere else, this place is understaffed and over worked. It is hard to get in with your provider however they do seem to do everything possible to get you in with someone when it is emergent. Dr. Beck is so kind and caring. I wouldn't recommend the urgent Care.
Stay as far away from here as possible unless you want to receive a bunch of bills for medical care you didn't ask for and isn't billed correctly. Marta at West Olympia's billing even said if you have any pre existing health condition they can use that to bill against you so you cannot receive preventative care and have it covered by your insurance. It's a shame because I like my daughters doctor there but I refuse to be stolen from.
