Had colitis flare up with immobilizing pain for 72+ hours. The urgent care provider wasn't empathetic at all and didn't provide a prescription for abdominal pain relief. This visit was an entire waste of time - should have just gone to the emergency room!
Every time I come here I feel heard. I have brought my daughter here plenty of times and each time is a good experience. I have a hard time with medical settings but i feel at ease here.
Injured my knee on the job, waited two hours and sit in the room for another 45 minutes when the Dr came in, she touched around on my knee for about two minutes so there’s nothing she can do and prescribe me ibuprofen no knee brace no heat pack no instructions. I would rather have gone to the ER because at least they would’ve done something for me.
We had a wonderful experience with Dr. Sebastian Reeve and the whole staff. We had to take our 6 year old in on a holiday which we assumed would be an overwhelming experience for staff. But regardless of how busy, they were very patient and kind to my little one and gave her the best care. She was nervous and scared but the doctor worked so well with her, prescribed the after care we needed and now we’re on the mend. Happy to have providence quality urgent care nearby.
The only reason I give 2 stars is because the staff is super friendly. Aside from that, what is the point in having an appointment system if walk ins can bump your appointment back based on symptoms? I had an appointment for 10am, as people came in after me with more “severe symptoms” as they put it. I finally got called back at 11 but I am fairly certain it is only because I finally went up and asked what was going on. Maybe this site should just do walk-ins so they can triage accordingly since appointments really make no difference.
Very very sweet staff. The gentleman who checked me in was kind and professional even at the end of the day and while the clinic was overwhelmed with patients. He was also still kind after talking to a difficult patient, and he knows how to multitask well. The nurses were very sweet and respectful as well, again, the end of the day, short staffed and busy clinic. That says a lot!
Obvi 3 starts for a reason. My dad went in for stomach pain and it turns out that he needed surgery! I couldn’t go in with him so I waited later on my dad tells me that he needs to wait for surgery until tomorrow. So tomorrow comes and he says they told him around AM is when the surgery will be done. 5pm came and he was just getting surgery done. Very unprofessional and rude. The nurses that where helping my dad didn’t offer him water or food after the surgery. He went 2 days without food or water. It’s upsetting to see people who can’t do their job right, because that’s why they are in that field to provide care and customer service. They failed to do both in a correct way. Don’t come here if you are in need of a serious emergency. Hopefully the new generation of nurses and doctors are better.
I wish to state upfront, that I know as friends many healthcare workers. I know they got into healthcare for the best of reasons. I was treated respectfully by all I came in contact at this facility. But if this is the state of healthcare, we are in trouble. Without exaggeration I waited 3 hours in front room, 45 minutes once I had privilege of the inner room and a 10 minute consult with doctor. I know he was overworked and stressed so I will not judge him. Come on Providence….you can do better than this.
Extremely helpful and caring staff. The front desk receptionist helped my son feel more comfortable while waiting. The nurse and doctor went above and beyond to see him quickly and with such gentle care.
This evening I developed what appears to be a dandy ear infection. Checking the website I saw that the immediate care clinic in Happy Valley Closed at 1845. We immediately got into our vehicle and drove as quickly as possible to arrive at 1839. As I was walking towards the door I was informed that the clinic was not accepting patients. They were very sorry, we could return at 0700. These persons obviously have zero bedside manner. As a former first responder I understand the frustration at having people wait until the last minute for care. This was not the case. This person displayed zero sympathy let alone any empathy and in my short interaction I would conclude a sever case of apathy. She should consider a job in used car sales if this is the case. I have had Providence health insurance for several years and unfortunately have had several experiences at immediate care. My past experiences were all positive. It will be my last. In one month I will turn 65 and my decision to not have Providence Medicare is proving to be a good one. If you are not going to accept patients prior to what your website states, then change the website. Your actions tonight were not defendable.
