Providence Middle

Went here in the early 80s and experienced many of what is shown in the reviewers comments. Such is life this is a school not a summer camp and it's what you make of it. People are complaining about how dirty it is especially outside the restrooms. How do you think it's getting that way? It's not the staff doing it it's the same kids reviewing it on here. Perhaps if you didn't trash your own school then complain and trash it on here as well The teachers are there to educate you not be your best friends. Everyone will always have complaints regarding teachers regardless of what school they attend or where it is geographically on a map. If a child is failing a subject there is absolutely no way its completely the teachers fault. Believe it or not the parents must take accountability as well instead of trashing the teachers in a review. You claim the police are here often ... Who's fault is that ? The teachers, the principal, the school? No it's the kids and lack of parenting at home. Again this is a school meant to educate not a daycare center for troubled teens ... Just saying

I am on child #3 through Providence Middle School. All three of my children have done great at Providence. Two of my three are now attending Monacan High School and are taking all honors classes there. I am not saying that to brag but only to make the point that if they didn't get what they needed from middle school, I believe they would be having problems keeping up with their high school work. None of my children experienced bullying and always looked forward to going to school. The only problem I have with the school is that it is one of the oldest schools in the county and is in need of lots of repairs and upgrades which are being planned in the very near future.

My Second Child is now attending this School. He has honor classes and doing very well. If he stays on this path I see Valedictorian .He has two exceptional teachers that go above and beyond to keep him on a positive path toward life and his education. Things go on in school yes..but as parents we have to stay on top of things not just expect the system to raise our kids. Just because you don't hear about certain things else where... it's going on just more tight closed.

I've had two children enrolled at Providence Middle and I am not happy at all! Both of my daughters dealt with bullying and when I went to speak with the guidance counselor, she told my daughter she needed to let the teacher handle bullies and that kids were just mean at this age. My daughters came home with horrifying stories about sex, drugs, and alcohol. There is a computer arts teacher, Mr. Males, who has said sexually inappropriate statements to girls, been brought to the attention of the principal, and is STILL working there. The teachers are apathetic at best, verbally abusive at their worst. Avoid this school however you can!

this school does not know da wae. Also the fact that during lunch, the entire grade is getting in trouble for no reason, we heckin know how to behave ourself we aren't morons. They have money to renovate the school and get new chromebooks, but they can't get better cafeteria food. which is basically trash. A lot of the kids have problems, like depression, and bad grades, but instead of helping, the teacher bring them down. So, uh, not a good school. Plot motherhecking twist, they don't serve tide pods for lunch. 0/10. -/

This school is on of the worst schools I've eve Seen getting student in trouble for class by holding them back. The staff members are so unsanitary standing on the table while student are eating. This school need better staff or need to be shut down.

The bus drivers say mean things to me and peers also one of mine quit! they called us very inappropriate words and language towards us,profain this school needs to end

I'm in the 10th grade and went to this middle school and its the WORST. First, barley anyone passes their SOLS, the teachers are creeps, and there is always someone causing drama or fighting.

Train a child the way to go.. period. My son does well at this school and I have no complaints. Signed a Teacher with CCPS

Providence Middle School has the most talented and passionate staff. They go above and beyond for students.
