I attempted to visit this location today 10/3/2022 at 6:50 PM due to muscle spasms. The doors were wide open. However, after I proceeded to the entrance the doors were automatically closed and locked. The hours of operation are listed as 8am - 7pm. Why would you lock your doors as a patient is attempting to enter? That was the most unprofessional act I have experienced thus far. If you need urgent care please go elsewhere. They will not see a patient if it is within 10 minutes of closing. Urgent or not!! I wish I could give 0 stars. I also called to inquire on why they closed prior to 7pm and nobody answered.

I suggest choosing a CVS Minute Clinic or ER depending on your situation. There will be a higher standard for clinical assessment skills and more incentive to resolve the patient's complaint before sending them away.

Place is a joke. Sat in the room for an almost 2 hours just for a a covid, flu, and strep. I could hear doctors and MA's coming in and out of other rooms constantly. Piedmont needs to get this under control

Waited 2 hours in the waiting room. Not sure how they triage the patients but a few people who checked in after me went to the back before me. Very frustrating. This prompt care in Grovetown is definitely a hit or miss. The wait time is better than the ER but I would not recommend if you are looking for urgent or prompt care.

This place is always hit or miss for me. The front desk receptionist was nice this time, but the one I saw previously months ago was horrible. My wait time to get back to a room wasn't bad but the minute I was put in a room, I had to move to the 'correct' room. Now I've been sitting in this room for awhile, the doctor came in a few minutes ago and said oops wrong room. All meanwhile I have to sit and listen to the loud people at the desks giggling and having a good Ole time. This place is a joke. So unprofessional.

So yes, a lot of people are getting Covid tests I understand this. Came in at 930am not told about a wait at all. Got called me back on "accident". Only called my first name and made me feel like it was my fault that they didn't confirm who their patient was when they took me back but apparently it wasn't my turn yet. Been waiting for 3 hours to find out there was still 13 people ahead of me. Which means I would still be waiting for another 2 hours at least to be taken back. I think what happened when they messed up, they just put me on the bottom of the list instead of where I was before they messed up. Thank you for wasting my time.

The staff took very good care of my grandma with dementia. They were very patient, very kind, and helped put her at ease. We were able to get in and out pretty quick. My family is new to the Grovetown area, and we are very happy to have a university prompt care so close to home!

Recently saw Dr.Hicks for a heart problem when I could not get an urgent appt with my cardiologist .It was obvious she cares for each and every patient.She is very affable. Explanations were given as to the diagnosis and the opportunity to ask any questions. Thank you Dr.Hicks !

Came here as a new patient with no appointment. I was seen less than 5 minutes after my new patient paperwork was filled out. Front staff and nurses were very friendly and Dr. Hicks was wonderful, funny and knowledgeable. Overall it was a neat, welcoming place.
