The mission of CUAA’s Psychology program is to enhance understanding of psychology, nurture intellectual growth, and prepare students to serve others.
Concordia University’s Social Sciences Department, comprised of the disciplines of Anthropology,
Geography, Legal Studies, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology, foster critical thinking,
problem-solving skills, and social analysis to better understand the human condition. Through the study
of human behavior, political processes, social institutions, and global phenomenon, the Department of
Social Sciences enhances student’s linguistic, analytical, ethical, and spiritual talents for service in the
Church, community, and the world.
