We have been to many cooking classes and had a great time until this evening. Poor hygiene coughing and biting their nails by a class participant who is preparing food and the instructors told us to confront the person directly. Yet, these instructors were reprimanding other participants for having a water bottle on the counter, stationing it would contaminate the food. Really…just disgusting.
Tonight Chef Benito and Chef Mike presented us with an Italian themed cooking experience. There were about 15 or so of us and we took turns doing things. I mostly did mise en place tasks such as emulsifying sauces, grating parmesan, and having fun with a meat mallet on some veal. Albeit I got it taken away from me but it was understandable. It was an enjoyable experience. You normally don't have to do dishes but I ended up helping since it was so fun. The food was really good and they actually sent me home with a decent sized piece of the tiramisu we made since it wasn't going to set in time. It is great that they have the option to take home your creations. Excuse the presentation since it was in a car for 30 minutes or so. I would say if you can get these two that it would be a grand time. You might also even get a 20% off chef tool coupon if you ask.

My husband's and my life changed forever with our Apron classes. I think we have attended 10 classes! What is important is that we "opened" our minds to spices and not be afraid to think outside the box. Thank you for enriching our life!
Too many kids in class, each child didn't get to do much. My kids got a little bored. They did enjoy most of the food that was cooked.
My 3rd time attending the Aprons cooking school and this one didnt disappoint either. Was the Big, Bad , Bold Reds wine pairing. With Lamb, swordfish and short ribs. Dessert was chocolate truffles with raspberry sauce and fresh raspberries. Pours were generous. They offer 20% off of the wines featured., kitchen gadgets. If your lucky to catch a celebrity chef night, they will sign their cook books . I was bad with names on this visit. I remember chef Ed ..they were all great. Engaged in conversation. The timing of meals and pours was perfect. Food was delicious . This is a great date night idea. It was not the hands on class so you could relax and enjoy the evening. This is perfect for a large group, ladies night . A perfect gift for a newly wed couple. Publix has a great concept here. They could expand the size of room but maybe its kept small and intimate for a reason. We really enjoyed the evening watching the demonstrations, techniques and good company.
Attended Italian Buon apetito event last night. Food was delicious and service was friendly. Seating seemed a little disorganized and cooking period seemed rushed. We would have also preferred more actual formal cooking instructions and tips
Awesome experience. They cooked 4 delicious and creative courses right in front of us, shared recipes, cooking tips and more. Not to mention the wine that didn't stop flowing, they did a spectacular job keeping us all entertained and enjoying our evening. Thank you!
John and Jim, provided a fun filled night of entertainment and laughter. Oh and the cooking lessons we're very informative. The food was delicious. My wife and I will definitely be returning for more lessons.
