Store is always clean and orderly. Their staff are friendly and helpful. The parking lot is also clean and free of discarded stray carts. Love the customer service and helpful smiling personnel. My only negative would be their closing hour. I would love it if they were open until 10 pm instead of 9 pm. I am generally coming home driving a fair distance following a long workday between 8 and 9 pm. Sometimes I don't make it until right at 9 pm or a few minutes after, and it may be a prescription I need to pick up. Even closing at 9:30 pm would be helpful.
This is by far my favorite publix in town. I've never even had a single problem in nearly 4 years of coming here. It's always clean, service is top notch, new employees seem to be taught to uphold these values, and I always feel safe and happy to bring my family. The quality of goods are the best in town. The managers are always easy to approach and help with whatever they can. I rarely can walk past an employee without being greeted or asked if I need help finding something if I sit to long looking at products. If I'm in a conversation they don't interrupt at most give a courteous gesture. I've had a few items recalled over the years and only one item expired that's in 4 years of coming here and as soon as it's brought to their attention they refund it and even go to get a replacement if I desire that Instead. I recommend this place to everyone.
I like this Publix. Nice variety of foods, nice clean store. I am not a family of so many self check outs. It would be nice to have more cashiers. Nice to give people jobs and have that personal touch of real people and conversation. Some self check out is nice for people who want it....but it should be an option, NOT the norm and for that reason I give it a 3 star. PEOPLE, make a business.
The deli was awesome. I had to get supplies for a charcuterie board for a coworker’ party. Gabriel was very knowledgeable and friendly with meat and cheese selection. Appreciate all the help even with the ladies behind the counter slicing and dicing. Will be back!
Majority of staff is rude and lazy. I feel bad for the staff that has to work harder for the ones that just don't wanna do their job but get paid more. So ridiculous. Soon there will be no good staff left because managers aren't ensuring people are actually doing their job. DO BETTER!!! LOTS OF -IST type of behavior. Surprised they haven't gotten sued or a lawsuit yet. Definitely hate this Publix now. I used to work here years ago but was told that they were taking the word of an obnoxious, rude now manager over mine even though no one else had any problems with me. I wonder why? Hate this place!!!
I went to Publix at 1731 S. Rutherford Blvd to sen a Western Union. The customer service representative was Mindy. She was not customer friendly and actually rude which made me to come away from the store and thinking of not going back. There was another woman standing beside her during the first part of the transaction and the look she gave me told me she knew that she would not have been rude. I don’t want to judge the other employees in the store for another employees actions and I won’t. However i will avoid Mindy in the future.i have sent many Western Unions to family in the Philippines and always before was treated with great customer service.She seemed upset when i wanted to change it from dollars to pesos She never asked before. She should be on a cash register since she lacks good customer service. Roger Dailey
Alan, the meat department manager was extremely rude to me Sunday January 15th around 8:30 in the morning. He barely let me talk and cut me off multiple times. He needs a training on how to speak to Customers. I just asked for an item he didn't have in his case as nice as can be. How is he even the manager with that attitude so early in the morning?! Rude tone and all. I called him out on it so he could correct himself.
Great employees! They greet you & are always helpful. The store is clean, great produce, & their deli, bakery, seafood and meat department are on point.
Nancy in Deli is awesome! She is super patient and always works with a smile on her face. She literally brightened my day with her spirit. The food is great also
Much pricer than Kroger and Walmart,, Publix is a bit more upscale and cleaner store. The employees seem a bit more happy and helpful than Kroger or Walmart. Family frozen food entre options are more limited than Kroger and Walmart. About a month ago, self checkout stations stopped accepting cash and now only accept cards, forcing cash customers into traditional, slower checkout lines that's a negative.
