This place is always crowded on weekends as you’d expect, but it’s well-staffed and it never takes long to check out. If you run into an issue at the self-checkout, there’s someone there to help. The deli line always crawls though. That’s my only real complaint about this Publix.
It’s sad that I have brought my emotional support dog in the THIS store multiple times. Today after buying my Publix sub on the way out, a short and scrawny manager was standing next to another taller scrawny manager and they asked me what my dog was registered for… I didn’t quite understand why they were even talking to me and then I told them she has been trained to help me with anxiety and then shorter one kept saying that wasn’t a board approved reason and just he kept standing there saying the same thing while the other just stared… So I said ok I won’t bring her in again for them to continue to act like they were about to do something. Very weird and off people they have running this public now… I will not be back. Especially with my anxiety, the last thing I want is to be called out for holding my tiny SILENT chihuahua. I had to leave because once my boyfriend asked the shorter one if he gets paid enough to harass people, the manager replied “I DO”
Publix is a great supermarket and this location is so nice. it’s been recently repainted on the outside so it looks great and is very clean. the parking is large so plenty of space to park. the inside looks like a typical Publix but tis location actually has a self-checkout area that is super convenient! the staff is super friendly, as you’d expect from Publix. there are also always great BOGO deals and sales to take advantage of.
I normally love Publix and speak highly of them, but this location has taken a nose dive in their quality recently. I've gotten packages of produce that have been partially rotten multiple times. The lines to check out have been worse than ever because they barely have any lanes open. And the deli, whew, the deli cannot seem to be able to make a sub correctly or on time unless you wait in their extremely long line so you are standing directly in front of them to tell them exactly what to do. I don't know if they had a management change or what it is, but this location has cratered on their standards.
Would be nice if they could have a place in an aisle for gluten free items all in one area. Makes it a lot easier for us Celiac patients to shop.
Nice clean and friendly staff. You can not get cash back using Google pay or apple pay NFC. Gotta go to Winn Dixie for that. Overall I love Publix. Their deli food and subs are so delicious!!! And they have the best tea!
Publix is an upscale store that is a little more expensive than other grocery options, but they deliver excellent Customer Service. When you ask any employee where to find a product, they don’t just tell you… They take you to it. If they can’t find it, they look it up. Carry out service is available upon request. Produce is always fresh and the store is clean and well organized. I am pleased that they now have a good selection of vegan option meat alternatives such as Impossible brand and Better Than brand, as well as MorningStar and Gardein.
Chloe Sloan was absolutely amazing. Very friendly very outgoing and kind all while being very helpful to me . I cannot say thank you enough Chloe ! I hope they recognize your hard work and give you a raise .
Every time I go to deli hot food items it seems like Vinny is there he looks annoyed and inconvenienced that he has to tend to you and or other customers. EVERYTIME I’ve been there he lacks any kind of friendliness. It’s like “here get your food and leave” type of interaction. If you don’t like your job then go somewhere else. Simple.
Nice sized store with a good selection of all the foodstuffs that you need and don't need! I enjoy the deli, bakery and fresh seafood counter. Produce is usually superb as well.
