I love the deli food and sandwiches, but this location is so slow. There are usually 4-5 staff behind the counter, and usually only one of them is actually working. I feel bad for the hardworking staff member who has to do everything while the other 4 just putz around. This is not just the observation from one visit, this is what I have seen consistently for over 1 year.
The true meaning of "Where Shopping Is A Pleasure". Been going to this Publix for 25+ yrs and no matter what kind of day the Employees or I are having, they Always seem to put a kind smile and words into place. This Publix has done a Super job with keeping up the Customer Service training. As the years have gone by I've seen many of the same employees Grow, Get Promoted and Still Continue with a Smile along with the Publix Family. The turnover is very minimal and it's nice to be remembered by name from the employees, which is rare these days. This location has always been well stocked, organized and clean. It continues to be a shopping pleasure every time I go to this Publix Pharmacy or the Food store. Enjoy Your Shopping
My visit into Publix was good, I had no issues, found everything I needed, and was in and out quickly.
Visit store again, hot food counter need a attitude adjustment! Please send them to your Palm beach or Lantana stores for training!
This has been one of my more intersring reviews on Publix in comparison to others. Upon walking inside the doors of Publix what seemed like a smiling group of Publix associates were all just walking out of the store, including managers. I glanced behind me towards the parking lot and saw all of the associated, managers included, proceed to go and collect every shopping cart that was in the parking lot. I think it's great management to let your employees know that there isn't a job they would ask them to do if they themselves wouldn't do it. I took a few pictures of some department areas and wrote exstensive notes while shopping. Oh btw within 60 seconds of being inside the store we were greeted by a manager who asked if he could help us, we declined, and off I went to take pics and notes. Everything was great particularly the deli which looked very clean. The bathrooms unfortunately were not clean which is why this store didn't earn 5 star review. This is where things get interesting, a manager named Charles politely approached me, asked if he could help and then told me not to take any more photos of the store. I was slightly embarrassed as others could hear but that was it and the pics stopped. Then we started noticing Charles behind us, arms crossed, with a large frown on his face. After following us a few aisles I walked up to ask him why was he doing so. He responded by saying he was making sure I was no longer taking pics of the store. I explained to him that since he had already asked me not to that I had stopped. I then take my phone and notes out to let him know that I'm a very regular user of Google maps review and that I had earned a relatively high ranking within the local community. I then show him the notes I had taken so far which were filled with comoliments about the store. He seemed to cool down after understanding my motive for the pics but again asked that I stop taking any ubtil I get approval from corporate. I agreed shook his hand, paid for my items and left promising myself not to let this confrontation have an effect on my overall score. It didn't, this store was very clean and well-maintained, except for the bathrooms weren't clean. I will post an update if Iearn more about this "photo" rule
Publix always has what I need no matter where I happen to be in Palm Beach County, FL.
It’s bad enough that this store is always out of what I need, but after the experience today, I’ll make a point never to go here again. They allowed one customer to hold up the line for 20 minutes as she separated orders and added/deducted items. But that’s not the real problem. This review is about how another cashier opened at the direction of her supervisor due to the delay in my lane and instead of helping me transfer my small load of groceries over I had already been stuck in line between customers for 15 minutes!! the cashier took all the people behind me. It was over 20 minutes before I was able to get through the line with no apology from the lead staff person. Common sense tells you to help the person who’s already been waiting!! There truly is no more good customer service in the world anymore.
I've tried 4 times and they never pay attention if you order ahead in the deli. Waited an hour to pick up my 3 subs only to have to wait for them to make it when arrived. 3 out of 4 times.
Expired product multiple times. Rotten priduce on the shelves especiallythe green beans and onions, expired crackers and yogurt. Even the meat tends to "go bad" before written expiration. Used to love this store but paying top dollar for subpar groceries will have me using Kroger for good now
I placed an order for a cake for my daughter a week and a half in advance. I arrive to pick up my cake and they said it doesn’t exist, thank god I had my receipt since they were making it seem like there wasn’t an order. One of the bakery employees says sorry there’s no cake and the decorated isn’t in today. Basically, tough luck. The “manager” then comes to me and says sorry we don’t have it I don’t know what happened, again basically saying tough luck. I then start to obviously get annoyed and there were other customers and they say that best they can do is “try” to do the cake and that it would take over an hour. It’s my daughters birthday, we have people at home waiting and we have dinner reservations. The manager just nonchalantly keeps saying you have to wait. As if this is my fault. INCOMPETENT. Never getting a cake from here again.
