5 Only because of the new young nubian guy in the deli name "Amari" The young guy fixed my vegan deli sub w/love. He smiled & was eager to make it the entire time. I order the vegan turkey sub pretty often at different Publix Deli's while out working. Although the deli was out of all the ingredients he fix me an alternative & I ate the entire foot long Sub in 1 setting & that NEVER happens. Thank you for not giving me a hard time like other deli workers just because I order an not too familiar Sub that "you're selling" idk why but I eaten this Sub 10 times & this is the BEST it has ever been!!! I wish I could drive a hour 40mins every time I want this Sub. Too bad we can tip them! Here's my tip Amari
Called ahead to ask what time seafood department closed for steaming …I live directly besides a Publix but choose to drive15m to this store as the Publix near home lacks customer service….arrived 15m earlier to find it was already closed, not A item available for purchase…. Publix customer service really hits differently in this area. Shame I thought Publix customer service was exceptional and standard in all of thier stores.
Please leave people alone when they use self checkouts! You keep having your employees strike up a conversation when we clearly are using self checkout to be left alone. We want to get our stuff and get out. Not make friends at a grocery store

I've been going to this Publix for 17 years and have always had a great experience. But since the pandemic the Publix on Deer Creek, Chapel Hill Rd can't seem to keep up with the surrounding stores. Shelves are always empty and lots of staple item are missing. I could never go in there and find what I need. Instead I have to complete my groceries at Publix Lee Rd or even Publix Cascade. Yesterday I went to buy a chocolate cake slice a Publix staple since forever and they had none, not chocolate not any. Pitiful!
I purchased a rotisserie chicken from y’all on 3-29-23 . Needless to say it was not cooked properly. I have been sick vomiting for 2 days and so weak, I barely hold my head up. It looked done on the breast, my husband cut into it afterwards and there was blood in it and the underneath was pink. Thank you Publix! Y’all need to start checking the temperature with a thermometer.. Do Better!!!!!!
I really wish the workers at the deli will wear masks and change gloves. They rush to make ur sandwich like they’re in a hurry when the line isn’t even long. They’re unfriendly and even WORSE anytime I get a sub from this place I end up getting a cold the very next day. Please enforce the use of MASKS!!!
Clean with good selection of different foods. Not just the same old, same old. For example, cheese and fruit blintzes, just like you'd find in New York! Very good deli department.
Great staff! Always takes care of an issues I have. In in out fairly quickly
