Worst Publix. Deli and customer service are the worst I’ve seen. The deli staff can hardly speak clear English and have a miserable attitude there. Can’t understand 70% of what they’re saying. Customer service needs more people skill training as they are also unfriendly and unwilling to go one extra step for anything. Like pulling teeth to ask them if they have a product almost always they don’t and if they can check if another Publix has xyz. Whole Foods honestly has similar prices and way nicer inside with very helpful staff. Totally different business model and strategy and it shows. This Publix just wants the cheapest staff that obviously have no willingness to work and it shows. Get higher quality personnel. Whole Foods and Sprouts are far better! Aldi is good just for prices. Wish I could write a letter as I have multiple examples for this terrible store.
Nice and clean with good selection of products. Decent staff that seemed competent. I wound up spending a n hour and a half shopping for all the stuff I needed to fill up my pantry.
I just moved to Lighthouse Point, I came from Cutler Bay. I’m used to very friendly Publix employees who smile, say hello to customers and ask if everything is ok. I was disappointed to find employees at Lighthouse Point being extremely indifferent. No hello, no smile, not even a thank you for shopping at Publix. Did somebody die? They seem VERY unhappy. Poor management, I suppose. Think I’ll try someplace else.
Just a local drinking hole! Literally! If can’t tolerate smoke, best not go in. , it’s an old local tavern with a great staff . You can play touch tunes ,pool and order food from any of the best restaurants in this plaza. It’s been here since the late 50’s.
Worst publix I have ever been to by far. I unfortunately live in the neighborhood and have been forced to come here for over 5 years. Aside from a few cashiers, the entie staff is incompetent. Just terrible.
People put on cold fronts or you have to peel back layers to get to know people. At this place the people are real, genuine, and just looking to relax and have a good time. Just what I needed.
Nice clean & a lot of workers so it wasn’t a lot of waiting in line. Very nice the manager was very alert kept things running smoothly.
I love the store however Publix prices seems to go up every week. I think they are taking advantage. I went to Aldis to shop this week.
Full disclosure I have ordered cakes from here before and there are usually up to Publix standards however this time I ordered a cake from my wife’s birthday and it looks like the worst signature cake I have ever ordered. I was told that because someone was training the cake was substandard. While the staff was very polite the cake was sloppy and damaged with misspellings and they made it clear that nothing would done to rectify the situation even after I politely alerted them to the matter. We will never use this Publix again.
We shop here all the time. The only problem is the deli service. We understand online orders are being filled, but why is there only one other employee taking deli orders? So slow. And no eye contact by any of the other deli employees. Each week we think it will be better, but it's not. Please have more employees taking walk up deli orders. Not sandwiches, just cold cuts.
