Now THIS is what you call a supermarket! They're one of the pricier players in the grocery game, for sure. But local competitors just cannot contend with their level of quality, in everything from cleanliness to customer service. The staff always seems positive and polite. Very approachable and obliging. The checkout lines typically seem to flow at a decent pace, which is aided by the convenience of the self-checkout kiosks. It should go without saying that their famous "pub subs" are a must. But I would also highly recommend their sushi, which is made fresh daily and is offered in a nice variety. It's also currently our favorite place to get our shrimp by the pound, because they will season it the way we like, and the seafood associate helped us determine the quantity needed to fill our bellies.
Always a pleasure to ship here! Staff is always super friendly and helpful. They actually walk you to where a product is when you ask for something you can't find. I also love the cleanliness of this store!
The associates and what appear to be managers all seem to be very nice. The store is always stocked and clean. The seafood and fresh food departments always give good customer service. I usually use the self checkout and the associate there is always helpful. I can easily find what I need and leave fairly quickly.
Publix at White Oak Village made our wedding cupcakes! We had originally planned to have our wedding catered by a much more expensive local bakery, but eventually decided to just use Publix bakery. What an amazing choice! It was SO affordable, and still really good. We got so many compliments from our guests!
Always clean and many buy two, get one free deals. The deli is amazing with surpringly good fried chicken. And of course, the bakery has some tasty options
I want to start off by saying that the employees here are always so courteous and patient. I’ve shopped here since it opened and never had one negative interaction. I really wish I would’ve caught the employee’s name that turned my entire day around and it’s something I will never forget. Today she was working in the produce section, and saw me struggling with my toddler who was hysterically crying and fighting me. Unknowingly while I’m trying to calm down my child, she blows up a balloon and asks if he can have it. He instantly stopped crying and had the biggest smile on his face, as did I. She was a saint. I hope someone at Publix reads this and gives her some well deserved praise.
Good place. Prices are high, and some items can be hard to find with the app because there is no map showing what aisles and sections are where.
Ample parking. Clean and stocked. Well staffed and great customer service at the deli. A little pricey, but nice sales savings.
Clean Store and Stocked Shelves! Also at present Sept 2023 they were carrying the dry cat food, " I & LOVE & YOU &" but I only saw a 40$ bag of it and nothing smaller.
Publix is my go-to because I have a strategy for grocery shopping these days since everything seems to be so high. I first look at the bogos to see what I need and what things I want to purchase that are on sale and then seldom do I purchase anything that is not on sale. When I do things get really out of hand. Or I've saved enough money on the sale items to purchase some things that are not on sale. There are items that I would like to try and when I see the BOGO on that I will purchase. We used to go to Publix in Jacksonville or Orange Park before they came to Virginia. We would always get the subs one day. It's a pleasant environment and if you ever have anything that you're not satisfied with you can always return it without a problem. Plus if there's something that is Miss smart in the store you get that item for free. Publix is cool
