My friend and I visited this location for lunch on a Monday and had a horrible experience from start to finish. Our server Jessica was not great at all. She would disappear for long periods of time, ask us 2-3 times to repeat things, come back to our table 5 mins later to ask us AGAIN what we needed/wanted. She also got into a small argument with the party seated behind us which was interesting to hear. The service was SLOW, food was not prepared how it was supposed to be with my friends dish missing ingredients. Her burrito bowl she’ll was severely undercooked. I ordered dessert and Jessica brought me 1 1/2 pieces of cheesecake pic attached. I ordered one. Who would give an extra half piece that looks like it was eaten off of. I ended up throwing it away, it looked and tasted old. The restaurant was very dirty, we were given dirty silverware and water glasses. The booth we were sat at had a major rip in it. Our whole lunch experience was very disappointing. Will not be returning! Save your money and go somewhere else.
Moments before our food came out, my husband got up from our table to kill a huge roach running towards me and told me not to look. Instead of making a scene, my husband asked to talk to the manager on the side. My husband told the manager about the roach that had been stepped on in the middle of the floor. All the manager had to say was, "we will call pest control". The manager didn't offer an apology or even remove the dead roach. When we left, the roach was still on the floor. Nothing like eating your food and seeing the dead roach still on the floor.
The food was really tasty and flavorful. Braylon was great as our server! I had the Mexican Queso Grilled Chicken, and the Mrs had the Chicken Fajitas. Everything had a great taste! Prices are just a bit high on the weekend, but you get what you pay for. Highly recommend!!Food: 4/5
WONDERFUL STAFF!! ORDERED TO GO WAS PUSHING THE BELL And it fell apart LOL!!! & THE 2 GUY'S WERE IN THE TOGO WERE SO WONDERFUL!! 09/25/2023 @ 7pm DIDN'T GET THERE NAMES BUT I BELIEVE ONE WAS THE CHEF!! SO SWEET & MY ORDER WAS READY & HOT!!! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! GREAT FOOD!! I WOULD TELL EVERYONE TO GO THERE FRESH EVERY TIME!! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TRULY THE BEST!! THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR HARD WORK & FOR DOING SUCH A GREAT JOB! THANK YOU ALL AGAIN!! Parking: LOTS OF PARKING!!! GREAT PLACE!!
The food was just okay. I got the Ultimate Fajita meal. It took a while to get my food, which was fine since I wasn't in a rush. However, after about 7 minutes of me getting it and eating the waitress brings over the bill and a to-go box. She said she was just going to sit it there just in case. That completely threw me off. But then she asks if I want a to-go drink. I said, "uh sure but I'm not ready to go." She said she wasn't trying to imply that but I had literally just gotten my food not even 10 minutes ago. I felt very rushed and the restaurant wasn't even the least bit full. When I did decide to leave, I visited the restroom first and it was absolutely disgusting. There was a stopped up toilet with feces just there is it. The other stalls were just gross and it was clear no one checks the restrooms and cleans up during the day. There was also a huge dead cockroach on the floor of the restaurant. This is just not a place I will visit ever again.
Waiter did not come to table except to drop off food. I was out of drink for 30min till food was brought & only got a promise of a refill. Had to eat what I could without drink & yes We did let him know we were out . & we got of course no chips or dip other than what he brought initially. Don't think I'm going back.Food: 3/5
Absolutely terrible experience today at this restaurant and we have dined here countless times. We sat in the bar and were quickly hit with the smell of a dirty bathroom. The floors, tables, and booth seats were sticky and not cleaned. The waitress spent more time flirting with men at the bar than actually waiting on tables forcing us to keep asking for things. When the food finally arrived, it was cold and tasted like it had been sitting out for a week. Needless to say, we could not eat the food and we left hungry. We will not be back to this location and I hope improvements are made to the cleanliness, food, and service.
It's just a regular On The Border. Food and margaritas are the same as everywhere else. The service was definitely below average. He spilled drinks in our laps. He had to be sent 3 times for the appetizer we ordered. He had to be reminded to go get the drink we ordered. I think he was really trying, but just has no idea how to wait tables.
For it to be a Thursday night, not to busy. Our waitress was incredible on point, super sweet. They might have been short staffed in the kitchen, it took about 45 minutes to get our food. But it was well worth the wait..
Highly recommend Grand Papi! Very friendly and attentive staff. Food was hot fresh, flavorful and brought out to table in a timely manner. Bathroom was very clean well stocked and pleasant smelling. Parking lot has disabled parking and very clean.Food: 5/5
