Puerto Vallarta A Family Restaurant

I get takeout, usually a chicken, or pork burrito, they are somewhat different from what l was brought up with in central California, being here the flour tortilla is stuffed with a generous portion of meat cooked or grilled and fairly bland. The salsa, rice and beans are served separately and you can put these into your burrito this is the style I'm used to, growing up in the SF bay area, they roll these items into the burrito for you or eat them separately. Delicious, when I splurge, and for me, any time I eat restaurant food it's splurging, I get two of them so my dog Boudi can have one too. I eat her salsa and I ask for no onions so she can have some refried beans and rice. I live nearby and all I have to do is get on the phone and take a short walk and by the time I get there they have my order ready to go with s bag of home made tortilla chips. Service with a smile too. Kid-friendliness: A family style restaurant nice enough to take a date to. They do serve alcohol but there isn't a bar. Quite kid friendly, but any restaurant is always a good place for the kidlets to learn about and practice manners and basic courtesy is always appreciated by other diners. Just saying.

Pretty darn good, the menu is extensive, should be able to find something for everyone. Stopped here on the way home from Portland for dinner, already knew I wanted carne asada, wife got the chili verde. Should come with a warning label, the plates were enormous, almost comical. I forgot to mention that the service was outstanding. Such nice people.

Not much is in the sleepy town of Yreka, however if in the area, this Mexican restaurant is a treat! Service was kind and prompt, family-oriented, and the plates were well-priced. My partner and I were able to split the Rodriguez Platter which was absolutely exceptional. Staff supplied us with free powdered sugar-cinnamon crisps topped with whipped cream. I’d return.

So delicious!!! Chips with salsa and refried beans!!! Food was fast and hot tasted so good. Update went there again. Got their chicken tacos and asada burrito. 1 chips and salsa refried beans always good. Chicken was so dry I almost choked on it. The tacos weren’t good had no seasoning added salt and tobasco sauce. The burrito I took home to eat. No pictures this time but will be back.

This is one of my favorite parts of Yreka! The service is always on point and the food is spectacular. From someone who has lived on the border I can tell you this Mexican food is phenomenal and I highly recommend it! The choices are wonderful and the staff and service is always great 10 stars!

We went because I heard that their margaritas were freshly made without a mix. Yes! They were very good. The carnitas was tasty but I prefer it plain without all of the onions mixed in. We were seated in a section that was packed with people including a large and noisy birthday party, even though the other section was completely empty and quiet. That being said, the food was the star, with large portions and plenty of guacamole to go with the homemade chips & salsa. Better than Casa Ramos which I feel has gone downhill since their move.

One of the best dining experiences I've ever had, easily. The seafood soup was incredible! Dipping my spoon into the huge bowl felt like throwing a fishing line into the sea to see what I might bring to the surface. Brilliant and absolutely delicious.

Great experience along with awesome service! Every meal was cooked perfectly and drinks were cold as ice. My shrimp fajitas were delicious! Thank you for great hospitality.

Best chile relleno hands down!! Oozing cheese, lots of sauce, pepper is easy to cut with fork... perfection!!! Wish I had taken a picture before I started eating it. Service was fast, friendly and thorough.Food: 5/5

We went for my husband’s birthday. The whole experience was beyond my expectations. Our first treat was our waitress, Vicky!!! She made us yummy margaritas, made sure we had plenty of salsa also yummy and chips. Always with a winning smile. Our food was SO GOOD. Followed by birthday dessert. Can’t wait to go again and hope Vicky will be there.
