The Puget Sound Skills Center offers high quality career and technical eduction for high school juniors and seniors.

Description

PSSC offers courses to the following school districts: Highline, Federal Way, Tahoma, Fife, and Tukwila. Talk to your counselor about signing up. We are saving a place for you!

There is FREE school bus transportation provided by each school district.

First session is from 7:55am-10:25am
Second session is from 11:15 am - 1:45pm

Mission

The primary focus of PSSC is to prepare students for a successful career and lifelong skills for high school juniors and seniors. Students master their competencies in an applied, contextual manner; receive instruction in advancing technologies; are connected to the workforce; and are prepared to transition to both college and work after graduation from high school. Many students earn required academic credits along with elective vocational credits and college credits while enrolled in Skills Center programs. Studies show that over 85% of graduates are gainfully employed, working full or part-time, and/or going to college one year after high school graduation.

i have been to this skills center for my first year and it has been fun. the video game programming Digipen class i am in has been a blast. the students in the class are pretty nice and helpful. the teacher is awesome, and we even crack some jokes in the class sometimes. definitely a place i recommend to students who are looking for a college class to attend.
One of the best schools I went to. I had fun and I had a very very very amzing time leaning computer skills and trying to lean how to make my own game in dividend class here. Also all the teachers are friendly and know what they are doing and also I would like to thank the teachers that allowed to study at pssc Jason and Chris.
i have only taken 1 year of video game programming, which i assume is the best class, and the class is pretty well balanced. if i had to give a critique, i would say that you should not allow weeaboos into the classrooms.
It's a great school with many opportunities to learn what you want to pursue in your life. All the staff are extremely friendly and kind and very welcoming.
PSSC has been the best option I've made throughout my few years in high school. I wouldn't have pursued any career without this school. if you're looking for a life, go to this school. OWO
PSSC has a great environment for learning, different from the usual High School experience. Check this out if you want to learn practical life skills at our Career and Technical Education school.
By far my favorite school ever, with amazing teachers. Even though I've only been to one class, this school has so much to offer to it's students.
The best school I have ever been to. I actually enjoy going here, it feels like a second home and not a living hell.
