Great food. Our waitress was friendly and very attentive. We had been here before but it had been awhile. We'll be visiting again soon. 9/23/2022 Always a good meal here. Our waiter was friendly and checked on us frequently. Vegetarian options: My daughter giot vegetarian flautas and they were very good. Parking: Parking was at the back of the building.
Fajitas are so good. We did take out. Food was so delicious. Call them for made-to-order. Local flavor must try if you are Mexican food lover.
This place is nice and clean and they have authentic food items and drinks at the store that is attached to the restaurant. Our food was delicious, the only complaint is that tacos were extremely small. Great service otherwise.
Was highly recommended and the food was very authentic. And it filled me up.usually when I go to Mexican restaurants I have room for dessert. Not today!!!I was so full!only thing I didn't like was the parking a door are in back we parked and then walked around front and saw signs to walk back around to enter..well worth the drive from Gainesville.
When it comes to Mexican food I go for flavor over heat. This place did not disappoint. The restaurant is also a grocery and had no loss for fresh ingredients. The place is not fancy but very clean. Every employee I interacted with was very pleasant. Food was great and prices were good. My husband said it is our new favorite restaurant when we our in the area. Did not give 5 stars due to parking. Vegetarian options: Ordered the vegetarian fajitas. Loved the flavor and varity of veggies used, carrots, broccoli, baby corn, onions and various peppers. Large portions and great flavor. Parking: Small parking area. Entrance is at the rear of building. Although the parking lot was full at 1:45 our party of 5 got in and seated quickly.
Recently moved to green cove and have tried a few Mex places. There was always something missing though at them. I've seen reviews about this place and my husband let me pick where we would have our anniversary dinner tonight. I'm so glad we came here for it! The food was delicious, the service was attentive, the atmosphere had that personal touch to it and the grocery side of it was the icing on the cake. It's obviously popular but feels like a hidden gem. I had the Carne Asada and my husband said next time he wants to order it because it was so tender and flavorful!!! Everything was but that was my favorite thing and had to share the recommendation.
If I could give this place negative stars I would. My husband and I stopped by with our 2 year old as we were in the area and the ratings were good. After we sat down it had been a few minutes waiting for someone to come give us menus. Meanwhile someone who had just come in was seated and already ordering their drinks. A while later we had a nice waitress present us with menus. The pictures of food didn't look very good but maybe they don't have a good marketing team. My husband and I both ordered beef Enchiladas with rice and beans. Chicken tenders and fries for our 2 year old. The kids meal came first which came with 2 very thin, short chicken tenders that did not look appetizing and were not eaten. He had a few french fries. As for my husband and I, the rice looked right out of a box and the beans canned. The Enchiladas were a nasty mess. Just Ground beef with some cheese thrown in wrapped in a soggy Tortilla. The cheese inside wasn't even melted. The top was covered with sauce and melted cheese, but this just tasted like straight grease. We were able to get refunded for one meal and the staff seemed confused and said no one ever complains. $15 spent on garbage and a waste of time. They were nice but the food was gross. Don't waste your time here.
Food was so good torn up in no time Great service and staff love this place will always be the best Mexican food ever.
Fantastic little local restaurant. Very enjoyable experience with my husband and our pastor. The servers were pleasant and responsive. The food was perfect. Even with our special requests everything came out exactly as ordered. We’ll be back for sure!
Food was great, service was superb. Our server, I think her name was Tammi, was so sweet & helpful with suggestions. Food was authentic & plenty. Also had Mexican store inside. Restrooms were very clean. Parking: Some right at restaurant & also along the street.
