Food was delicious! We stopped in after church one Sunday afternoon, the dining area is small, and there was a little bit of a wait, but once we were seated the wait staff was great, they did tell us the kitchen was backed up, but quickly got us drinks. The wait wasn’t bad, food was delicious and enjoyed the atmosphere.Food: 5/5
Let me start with how excited we were when we saw this place come up in our recommendations. Specially excited about the oxtail on the menu. Turns out it was excessively priced and sub par, and let me not forget an additional $5 charge for a side of rice on top of the dish, hence we think it was totally not worth it! We obviously learnt about it later as we paid $125 for 3 people. We had a dish each and a juice each which was again excessively sweetened and didn’t taste real. We also had an appetiser each. So yes, there was a lot of food, but for the quantity and the quality/taste it just wasn’t great value. I would not recommend this place specially if you are looking for oxtail.
Delicious coconut mojito. Loved the empanas, really perfect crust and not too greasy. The Mofongo was really good. The chicken fry and meat was good, but it had tons of bones, some seemed like just breaded and fried bones.Food: 4/5
Amazing food. All is very well served and true to the Latin origins. Well worth the drive from downtown. After 2pm on Sundays there is some wait time. A bit on the expensive side but it's difficult to put a price on the experience.Food: 5/5
Amazing place! We drove there from Katy because we wanted to eat Dominican food. The food was delicious, not oily at all. Very nice people work in this restaurant. I wish we lived closer so we could eat the food from this place more often! But we will definitely come back here for another time.Recommended dishesYucca Fries

This was my first time trying Dominican food and I was very impressed on how flavorful the food was at Punta Cana. The place was busy throughout our lunch which I think it speaks good of a restaurant. Our server was very attentive and friendly. The Ceviche was so refreshing and the chicharrón was crunchy and tasty. Definitely will be stopping by again when in the neighborhood. Also, they have plenty of parking which is something I’m always looking for.
Every time my family and I have gone, the service is always great! They’ve got a variety of food and everything I have ever gotten from here has been delicious. Very fresh home cooked food vibes. No complaints here.Food: 5/5
Not WORTH A PENNY! I ordered through uber eats and the food was horrid. The portions were like for toddlers. I've put pictures of what I got: the Moro was hard and dry its like they mixed fresh rice with old rice. the white rice was crunchy. the chicken which I got grilled chicken breast was so small I don't understand why this meal is $15. Then the pepper steak was disgusting shredded into small pieces and swimming in stew. I wanted a taste for back home and this just wasn't it.
We went for lunch after church on Sunday and it was fantastic! We got the fried chicken either Puerto Rico or Dominican spice, I can't remember for an appetizer. It was good, but would probably choose something else next time. My wife got the Oxtails with beans and rice for her main dish and she really enjoyed it. The beans were great also, unique flavor. I had the Pernil which is shredded pork shoulder. Comes with a little cup of sauce on the side. Not sure what's in it but it complemented the pork well. It also come with a small shredded purple cabbage salad and dressing on the side. Very good. I had the Mofongo instead of beans and rice. From Wikipedia: Mofongo is a Puerto Rican dish with plantains as its main ingredient. Plantains are picked green, cut into pieces and typically fried but can be boiled or roasted, then mashed with salt, garlic, broth, and olive oil in a wooden pilón. All three of the the staff members we dealt with were great also. We will definitely be back!
