Purdue Space Day is a student organization at Purdue University dedicated to providing free educational outreach to children in the community.
Purdue Space Day (PSD) is an all-day educational outreach program held in the fall on the West Lafayette campus of Purdue University. It is designed to give approximately 675 students from 3rd to 8th grades the opportunity to learn about engineering and space exploration through listening to a presentation by a Purdue alumnus astronaut and by participating in three unique age-appropriate hands-on experiences with the intention of sparking their interest in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) using a space theme.
