Description

Pure Barre is a total body workout that lifts your seat, tones your thighs and burns fat in record-breaking time. Utilizing the ballet barre to perform small isometric movements set to fantastic music, Pure Barre is the fastest, most effective, yet safest way to change your body. By taking an athletic approach to Pilates and dance, this musically driven, intense
55-minute workout will take you to your edge, lifting your seat, toning your body and burning fat and calories in record-breaking time. Clients can see results in just 10 classes!

Pure Barre is intelligent exercise. The technique protects your joints as it does not involve any bouncing or jumping. Each strength section of the workout is followed by a stretching section in order to create long, lean muscle without bulk. The workout launches a full blown attack on the areas of the body all women struggle with: abs, hips, seat and arms. It defies gravity by tapering everything in and lifting it up.

The workout requires such focus that you block "life" out for the hour allowing you to obtain the mental benefits achieved in yoga or meditation. A transformed body and a clear head in just one hour- it doesn't get much better than this.

I’ve been a member for three years and love it. I am a fitness instructor myself and workout regularly with a variety of memberships as well. Everyone offers me a different challenge. Pure Barre is definitely a challenge, builds balance, core and is focused on slow twitch muscles. I finally reached 100 classes recently and love it! I always look forward to class, the instructors are awesome, just a wonderful community overall.
I am here to write another review to express just how much I love Pure Barre Midlothian. I am now 150 classes in and still enjoying every class! No class is ever dull, and the staff and instructors are all amazing. During my last medical physical, I learned I gained 1.5 pounds of muscle! Hooray!!! Please give Barre a try, it's FABULOUS and so good for the mind and body.
I always say that Pure Barre is my happy place! I have worked out for years and there is no other workout like Pure Barre. I love the different class formats- Classic, Empower, and Reform. I love that every class challenges me and that the teachers help to correct my form and to make sure that I am getting the maximum benefit from every class. Our teachers are the BEST! They are welcoming, encouraging, and supportive. They make every class challenging while still keeping it fun! I appreciate that they helped me to make modifications at times when I was struggling with shoulder issues. The Pure Barre community is like a family. We hold each other accountable, we show up for each other, we support each other. I am grateful every day to be part of this special community. If you have been thinking about trying a class, sign up today! We would love to have you join our Pure Barre family!
I have been taking class at Pure Barre for three years and have never regretted my decision. The teachers are great and are always sure to ensure we have good form and provide modifications. As a former dancer, this type of exercise is a great for the aging dancer body. Come check them out! You won’t regret it!
Started with a free week promo in May and became hooked— Upgraded to an unlimited membership shortly after! Noticed significant changes in my core strength and mobility within 1 month of classes and every class is challenging. All the instructors are amazing and atmosphere is great. Barre class is my therapy I look forward to every week.
I started Pure Barre at Midlothian in late spring because I was looking for a place to help me get back into physical shape. I can say that I am finding my confidence and strength with each class that I attend. I enjoy every class and instructor. The staff is also very helpful and they check in from time to time to see how everything is going. I highly recommend going to Pure Barre Midlothian, and you must give it at least 7 classes to find your groove. Love, love, love!!!
I really love PB Midlothian. The staff are all so kind and helpful. There are people of all fitness levels, and the workout is tough every single time, no matter how long you’ve been coming. The mindful engagement has really helped me strengthen my glutes and decrease my low back pain. The instructors/experience really helps motivate you to work as hard as you can as an individual. It would be very hard for me to find another workout I enjoy like this one- you must give it a try!
Wonderful studio with supportive instructors! The workouts are challenging and the people who attend are kind. I’ve been a member over two years and have never stuck to one gym/studio this long. Highly recommend pure barre midlothian for an amazing workout and sense of community.
Best workout ever!! Amazing staff and community! Updated to add: 2 years later and I am more committed to Pure Barre than ever! They got me through the pandemic by offering online classes taught by the teachers who I missed seeing in person. Once back to "normal" it's been a great reunion of old friends and so many new ones! The staff are so welcoming and my fellow clients are very diverse in age and fitness levels offering a comfortable atmosphere for newbies or those who may be intimidated.
The registration process was terrible. Multiple calls and texts were made trying to get me to put my card on file, sign up, and sign papers on their site, none of which were user friendly or worked. When I finally arrived, I tried to work with the front desk lady to sign up just to learn at the end that I needed socks. I didn’t have socks so asked to go barefoot in which she said no. I was told I could purchase socks there but they were $20. I was already paying $15 for my first class that was supposed to be free because I didn’t need the intro which was the free class. With the socks it would have been 35. I was made to reschedule because I didn’t have socks and refused to buy socks there that I prbly would never use again. The class itself was fine. I would highly recommend they train their people better and try to be a little more helpful.. and maybe even keep a pack of socks from the dollar store in the back if people forget them for their first free class. Would not recommend.
