We requested a custom cake for our sons birthday, and it was phenomenal! It was delicious, easy to communicate with Heidi the baker, and we couldn't be happier to support such a great place. Reasonable price as well! We will definitely be coming back to try new treats :

Had a “Coraline” themed birthday party. Heidi replicated the cake perfectly! She was so nice and easy to communicate with. It was delicious, everyone loved it!

Just a wonderful place! Very nice people with a real talent for what they do! We had a cake and a number of lemon bars and brownies made for our wedding. Everything was amazing - the cake was easily the best I've ever had, and so beautiful! Cannot recommend enough.

Adore this little shop! Walking in is always a warm smell of baking goodies. Heidi is supper friendly and talented. There are dairy free options vegan, sugar free options and gluten free. They are all just fantastic!! My daughter loves the marionberry empenadas dairy free, seen below. Also carrot cake muffins sugar free, see below. The scones....any of them are fantastic. There is always something to try new in the case and favorites to take home as well....if they make it home. Note: the chocolate croissants are to die for! Nothing even close at any other bakery in salem....mine never makes it home :-

Best baked sweets in Salem! The very experienced baker used only butter in everything, and you can really taste it. Sticky rolls will send you to an early grave, smiling.

Love, love this bakery. I always get the Neopolitans, the lemon bars, the cheese-bacon rolls if any are left over from breakfast shoppers, and tidbits of other offerings as they they grab me !

Couldn't have asked for more. Needed last minute gluten-free birthday cakes. The cakes were beautiful, had great flavor, and were perfect for our celebration! We will definitely be going to "the cake lady" again.

This amazing cake was gluten free and delicious. All I said was I wanted a unicorn head cake for a 30th birthday. She did amazing. And it was only $40. I love this bakery they have great gluten free pastries and gluten pastries too. They definitely take their work seriously. They have funky hours currently and a very small space, but it's worth it.

38 friends, family and neighbors joined us for an open house on Sunday. Heidi prepared the desserts which included a mouth watering chocolate cake, cake pops and more. Her desserts helped made it a wonderful experience. The kids loved the cake pops. Definitely will hire her again in the future. Her desserts taste so much better than what one gets at a retail store bakery.

My spouse and I really like the pastries here. It's small and quaint with variety. I also like that they had Gulten Free for my spouse, Vegan for me and items with no eggs or nuts for my son with those allergies.
