The Purple Parrot Resort is a gated resort in Perdido Key which is the Florida panhandle's western most island. The island is bordered to the east by Orange Beach, AL and to the west is Pensacola, FL.
Our resort is a gem located in Perdido Key, FL which is on the western part of the Florida Panhandle. The Purple Parrot resort consists of 114 privately owned condos some of which are available for seasonal vacation rentals and others which are someone's vacation home that they visit whenever their work schedule permits. The icon of the Purple Parrot is the 5,000 square foot 150,000 gallon outdoor pool which features a waterfall cave and bridge accessible island hot tub. The outdoor pool deck connects to the privately owned Purple Parrot Tiki Bar and Grill which features live music most weekends, drink specials for adults, a tasty selection for lunch or dinner and a fun atmosphere. The resort is not beachfront, however outside the pool deck is a sandy beach area with thatch roof shaded tables and a volleyball court created for those who like to play in the warm Florida sand. The indoor pool house includes a heated pool for the winter months and a swimming area for those who got too much sun at the beach during our warmer summer months. The indoor pool house also has a hot tub, two dry saunas, a fitness center, showers and restrooms. The Purple Parrot Resort also has two barbequing areas complete with picnic tables and charcoal pits. In addition to the picnic setup, our east courtyard area also has a gazebo great for taking pictures in the evenings.
