Pottery Studio and Classes in Colchester, CT
Hi, my name is Heather Abel and I have been throwing clay and teaching others how since 1995. Purring Pottery began in my small apartment kitchen/studio. My kitty Mischief was completely intrigued with the spinning disc that threw wet mud everywhere. My living space became his playground and the vessels I created were stamped with paw prints and fur. After several moves and more clay-covered kitties, I've finally found my ideal studio space here in Colchester – although, I DO miss finding random paw prints all over my life!
You can find my pottery for sale at local businesses here in town and at festivals all over Connecticut. I bless all my clay with good vibes and healing energies through Reiki. All glazes used at Purring Pottery are non-toxic, lead-free, microwave and dishwasher safe. We are a peanut-free facility :)
