I met Hannah the owner about a year ago when I came to her studio with my unconventional needs. Since then I’ve been coming often buying clay from her, creating my own pieces, firing, glazing, re-firing and re-glazing. She always accommodates my quirky requests. Very happy with the service. Keep in mind you can do much more here than just paint. Get creative, spread the word!
Had a wonderful time painting a ceramic pumpkin. My daughter came with me & we had a blast & are going.back this year to make some more stuff. Great time.

This is my favorite pottery place. It is clean, well organized, and one of my happy places. The owner is fabulous, the selection is great, and I've learned several different paint techniques over the years.
We LOVED our experience. We felt comfortable, being able to grab what we needed at our leisure. We were checked on often. We went back the next week and couldn't wait to see the finished product. The smiles on my kids faces when they saw what they created was memorable. I was very pleased with our first trip and we will be back.
Just had my son’s 8th birthday party at PYOP in Northborough MA. Hannah and her team shout out to Amy are AMAZING. So accommodating, so patience, so fun! My son said it was the best birthday EVER. I highly recommend PYOP for a birthday party or a family outing or a get away with a bestie! Thank you PYOP!
Eh, it's alright. Under new ownership, so there's no longer a sitting fee to take part, but they certainly make up for it on the cost of the pieces, which are rather expensive for most that aren't all too inspiring and not clearly priced. Colour coding the shelves would help. The young staff are friendly but service is fairly stand offish, which isn't a bad thing if that's what you want but it's not overly inviting either when it seems every one that knows each other hangs out amongst themselves. Also, the store isn't always open when the hours say, as we came by a couple times for pick up and found the place closed. Painting is certainly fun and the kids had a great time and loved the variety of colours and this would be a nice place for a party type thing but as we only popped in as a spur of the moment bit of fun, I do not think we'll be repeating.
I had a wonderful time with friends at PYOP Studio. The owner, Tara, is so friendly and the studio has such a great vibe. It is in a very convenient location...taking me only 20 minutes from Sterling. We actually loved this place - fantastic selection of colors, VERY nice gals that work there but it was EXPENSIVE! Me and my 5 year old son went there and I was shocked at how expensive the pottery was! I finally found a tiny platesmaller than sandwich plate and a tiny mug and my total at register was over $45!!! Honestly we would go in there really often, we had fun, but who can afford it?
