Off season it's great! Mostly water sites which is fantastic, but no privacy. Sites have no real separation. Campsite is a little rough... a work in progress. This will be a gem in years to come.Service: 4/5
First trip there 8 nights in Sept, great location, wifi, water, electrical, will definitely go back. Staff are young and some inexperienced, but ignoring that, washrooms and showers and sites were clean, out-houses were new and clean, lots of seals, salmon, eagles, bear, most people had dogs on lease...Service: 4/5
The location? Gorgeous. So family friendly. The other hostesses we met were so wonderful, One of the evening hostesses however? Not at all. The speed limit there is 10km, my partner and I were going about 15 and she followed us to our campsite to proceed to tell us we would get into trouble if she saw us doing that again, in the most condescending tone. We apologized not realizing, despite the incredibly degrading tone she had been using with us, and accusing us of lying when she didn’t even have proof herself of how fast we could’ve been going. Never in my life had I known customer service so poorly. So rude to the people who are paying to use the services. The next evening, we proceeded to drive slow down to 5km to be careful and we went inside to pay for something and she claimed she could see the dust cloud from our “driving recklessly”. Again, in the most degrading tone. This is a beautiful place to stay; I have nothing but good things to say about the location. It is just the actions and attitude of one of the staff members that ruined our experience. Please consider being kinder to those paying to use your facilities in the future. Thank you.
I had a great experience with my dog . Showers and washrooms were very clean and regularly checked. I had great waterfront site with such a beautiful view. Lovely people I met at the campground and staff were very friendly and helpful .Hotel highlightsGreat view
Horrible experience amplified by a rude groundskeeper who refused to let us A rent a campsite by the ocean, B inflate our air mattresses, C exchange toonies for some loonies to use the shower. Imagine paying $105 to sleep in a bush on the hard ground and then not be allowed to shower afterwards. It was essentially a homelessness simulator with the added bonus of a sullen, miserable woman giving us attitude & stink eye every time we tried to buy something or ask a question. I'm white-passing but ethnically 50% Mikisew Cree. I can't help but wonder that maybe if I flashed my status card, my pals & I would have been treated remotely humanely? I'm normally not an "Everything is racism!" type of guy but I cannot fathom any other reason why we were treated so poorly despite us being super polite, unquestioning, cooperative, and paying upfront with cash. We cleaned after ourselves, were quiet, never sped, and got along with everybody on the grounds. P.s. the wench working the till is a liar too because I politely spoke to three separate parties at three campsites of which she wouldn't let us occupy because "they were reserved," all three groups told me they did not reserve or call in advance; they simply showed up after us and the other much nicer! teller rented the sites to them with no issues. They don't even take reservations according to their website! What gives!? Will avoid this pit of misery at all costs. Treat future customers like - well, customers, before you lose them forever.
We had a view of the ocean from the back of our campsite, the site is a good size, the campground isnt huge but its treed and quiet and has all the amenities, and like I said, a beautiful view. The staff is very friendly. I would recommend this campground.Location: 5/5
Everything including the access to the campground closes at 9 pm. Can't use bathroom or shower. Cram you in tight but great views. No coffee? Safety: Locked into campground at 9. Feels very unsafe
They have a few cabin to rent that are nice, i have not stayed in them. I have only camped in the open spots. They keep improving the grounds and have updated wifi with Starlink service. Pets are permitted too.Service: 4/5
Beautiful Oceanside tent sites, super friendly staff and cleanest porta-potties ever. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.
Not a great customer service. But really awesome location to camp. Feels like you are right on beach camping.Rooms: 4/5
