I had heard this was a bad no star hotel. The new staff/owners have really cleaned this hotel up. The pool Is great, although the hot tub was dirty and no chairs to sit on. No sketchy people hanging out or inside. The front desk guy was friendly. No bed bugs or cockroaches. Sure it needs to be updated but they are doing that. It's a work in progress. I will definitely come back. Rooms: Clean a little out dated Nearby activities: Not sure new to area. Safety: No visitors after 8pm. I felt safe. Walkability: Close to bus stops and stores
Im staying here for work and I advised my company that if they have already paid for this hotel, I would highly recommend a refund or some sort of compensation. The cleanliness and condition of the hotel in general is sub-par. The room was in poor condition with old dingy comforters. There is lots of water damage in the bathroom with unfinished paint the shower has no hot water, and the toilet looks like it's about to fall through the floor possibly killing someone in the room below us.
Awful Awful person at the front desk very rude and gave me and my mom a hard time trying to check in wish I could leave 0 stars. I made a reservation for my mom and the staff told her she could not check in because she was not the one who made the reservation. I am in phoenix and could not drive down there to vouch for her. I had her hand the phone to front desk he was extremely rude. He told me I had to fill out a form and send it back to them. Moments later he had said he hadn't received it and told my mom to tell me to send it to his personal email. I was very appalled of this request due to the fact that I had a picture of my driver's license and a picture of my debit card attached in this form. A little while later my card was charged but he just seemed to not want to bothered and kept taking guest ahead of her. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I am extremely disappointed in the service we received. We also were not able to get our money's worth because he took so long to get her checked in and really made her wait an hour to get checked in. I'm so upset with the hospitality that was shown to a paying customer. So rude and very unprofessional.
RUN AWAY FAST!! This is 1 of the worst hotels i have ever been in period!!! This hotel has roaches all over the place. I took my food to the room and no sooner did I. Put it down on the floor was the bag covered with roaches of all sizes. Even walking in the hallway, I came across a huge roach. The shower was broken. The front desk people were really rude. No guests of yours are allowed to go swimming with you either. The 'free Wi-Fi' was none existent. It's a good thing in the room it's only $70 for me or I would have truly complained. Yet just a couple hrs later, the hotel was trying to charge a couple over $300 for the same type of room.
