The rooms were nice and clean. Check in was a bit slower than expected, but the owner is very friendly and helpful, frequently asking if we needed anything else. The beds were comfortable and we got a nice quiet night of sleep. We would definitely stay again.Rooms: 4/5
I rate hotels based on expectations. This is a 2-3 star hotel. All-in-all, for the price, this Quality Inn was pretty good. We had two rooms. One was very clean and the other was okay except that the AC seemed to be cooling, but not dehumidifying, which led to a weird smell and feel. The beds were clean all around though. There is plenty of parking. The breakfast was decent again, considering the price. Eggs, sausage, two different waffles, yogurt, muffins, juice machine, toast. The front desk when we checked in was okay, but not very communicative. They seemed to be dealing with something. We didn’t check out the pool. Would stay again on the way through town if the price was right.
Loved loved loved it!..pet friendly great location for what we were doing that weekend. Front desk was so friendly and the continental breakfast was perfect!..they have coffee in the lobby 24/7 which is awesome!..the room was clean and didnt have any problems with anything in there! Definitely will be staying there from now on when we are in South Bend!
I was referred here by some people over at the Motel 6 down the road who assured me Quality was the safest place to park overnight in town due to the adequacy of their security cameras and routine police patrol, in addition to being well-lit. Desk clerks were friendly but slow to process check-in. I was persuaded by another guest to book directly over the phone for the best rate, but this came at the price of having to listen to a vacation package sales pitch from a very persistent salesperson which seemed like it lasted a full 30 minutes! I did it for the points but determined afterward that no amount of points is worth having to endure that. I was quite annoyed by the end of it and still am. And after all that I still got no better rate! Once checked in, I was impressed by the niceness and cleanliness of the room props to Natasha at front desk for her detailing skills!. The tub was the cleanest I’ve ever seen, it looked brand spanking new! Although it was missing the stopper so I couldn’t use it. The room was also surprisingly spacious. Only apparent downside was that the desk chair looked like it was long overdue for retirement. I came out for free breakfast in the morning and was told it was grab-and-go by request and that they don’t actually put out breakfast until Friday. The grab-and-go consisted of a packaged and frozen sausage, egg, and cheese croissant sandwich, along with a blueberry muffin and a yogurt cup. The fitness center was simple but looked fine, despite one of their treadmills being out of order. I did discover some rather concerning reviews about the establishment after I was already in my room. I was unable to detect any evidence of anything mentioned in the previous complaints other than that the hallway did smell a little funky and there were some questionable stains on the carpet. Most concerning to me were complaints of bedbugs. I investigated closely and found none, to my great relief, but mention of them by previous guests soured my experience nonetheless.
Although this hotel was not the most glamorous my eyes have ever seen, the marvelous hospitality brought upon us made up for it, and then some. One staff member, in particular, Amit, made our stay so enjoyable we couldn’t help but go back! The waffles at the continental breakfast were pretty gas too. The room was extra cold and the bed seemed to be pretty clean to the naked eye! Thank you to the great staff, we will be back !
I had low expectations based on the price but there was blood on the carpet in our room see pictures and drunks in the lobby on a Tuesday night. When checking in, the receptionist ignored us for several minutes before acknowledging us. When I inquired about a refund or an additional discount due to the blood on the carpet, I was told that reservations are nonrefundable but a manager would be contacting me shortly. That never happened. This was a horrible experience from start to finish and I'd highly recommend staying anywhere else.
Better breakfast than I expected. Room was good, overall, cleanliness and condition was the bump slightly down. We did have a complaint about the coffee maker in our room was missing parts, and although promised a fix, none occurred.Rooms: 5/5
We stopped in this hotel just recently, and we liked our stay very much because the room was clean and had everything you need for your stay. They have a really good and tasty breakfast as well. The stuff was super nice to their clients.
Paid my $100 incidental payment in cash. And stayed there one night from 10/13/22 to 10/14/22. I never write these reviews EVER but what the black heavy set women that worked in the morning of 10/14/22 did was basically theft. I told the night lady the room Smelled like smoke and she said it would be alright, that most of the rooms do and it's fine. While checking out the morning lady said she's not giving my CASH DEPOSIT back cause the room Smelled like smoke. I explained I'm a non-smoker and what the nigh/ lady told me but she was rude and not listening to me at all. Heard that if you pay cash as a deposit they will make up reasons to keep it and split it with theppl who clean the room. They did not have me sign anything saying they were keeping my $100. I I will will getting ahold of corporate about this cause I've been traveling for work for 9 years and never had any problems like this. The front desk lady basically stole my deposit and if I have to get a lawer for this. That's what I will do. Whatch out ppl when pay cash for a the deposit. Heard that black lady that worked front desk on 10/14/22 has been accused quite a few times of the same thing before. When u get paid $10-14 an hour, stealing that $100 deposit I'm sure helps with your bills
Room was comfy and staff was friendly and kind. I would stay here again no problem. Also there are some tasty restaurants nearby and the indoor pool is nice to have too.
