So we wanted to walk and decided to visit Quarry Lake around 6 PM yesterday. There is 5$ entry fee to the park. It is quite big and also has a few trails. It seems good for fishing but didn't find any other area which is worth staying. We were here for only an hour and are not planning to visit again. It is good to visit once for a short duration. There are no children playing structures or anything which 5-10 years old like. Overall, it is good to visit if you are nearby and want to do a little bit of walking. Dogs on leash are also allowed here.
Great park with lakes and walking paths. Connects to Alameda Creek Trail as well. Parking is $5. There are nice areas to picnic. Many different birds to watch. Great place to spend 3 to 4 hours.
Awesome place for Sunset date . I was struck by the beautiful sunset view from there… always thought that a beautiful sunset could be viewed only from the top of a mountain or some hills. But now my perspective on sunset changed… Nice flat trail for brisk walking, running/jogging. Many cute dogs can be seen as its a perfect place to walk your dog :. Surprised to know that There are more than one lake in this place. There is a little pond also. The hills were all green and golden when the sun was about to go down…. Great place for picnic with family. Will go there time and again!
Beautiful park . Big and lots of parking. There is a beach area , fishing zone and boat launch place as well. The water had algae in it so you are not advised to go in it. There were enuf restroom and had shower place also but no idea why all the restrooms were locked. There is an artificial sand court also which has a rubber flooring. So you won't get hurt playing. Lots of picnic tables and place for barbecue. Good place to spend with family on a holiday.
As always beautiful place for day out. A huge trail besides the lake is so good that your mind and body both will be recharged. Btw, use the Isherwood side for FREE Parking.
Its a beautiful area for walks around the lake, picnics, small functions, and much more. There is ample parking space for a $5 fee which is nice. There are some open picnic spots that are on first come basis and you can reserve a few as well from website. Most trails are accessible for strollers. This area is very dog friendly.
Such a beautiful place to visit! Plenty of spaces for a BBQ, several areas of various sizes you can reserve for parties, 2 awesome lakes for fishing, plus great hiking trails. And it's so close! 5 stars all the way!
One of my absolute favorite places to walk, run ride my bike. It's a great place to unwind and enjoy nature and beautiful scenery. Restrooms: Well maintained.. Picnic area: You have to reserve the covered areas, however there are lots of picnic areas throughout the park.
Nice flat trail!!! Water stream from the recent atmosphericRiver has brought the stream back flowing. Lush green with shades lots of picnic tables, water fountain. They do have sample fruit trees with many of tropical plants. Lots of parking and nice clean park very beautiful walk around sunset !!
