This is one of my husband's favorite Mexican restaurants in the area. My favorite dish from this place is the Pescado Vallarta. I always order that one every time we visit. Staff are friendly, foods are good and the prices are a little bit higher compared to some local places but the food makes it worth it.
We like the place. They only ever messed up an order once and it wasn’t that bad. Their salsa is the best and no, their chips aren’t fake. They usually come out hot and oily means fresh. Drinks are good. Can be a bit slow. But never had any real problems.
Shrimp taco's and shrimp cocktail were delicious but serves was kind of slow
The wait staff was horrible. They were standing around talking and it took 10 minutes for them to even notice I was there to get a seat and another 15 plus to have someone come get my families drink order. The salsa was terrible it was like someone literally took tomato juice and dumped every spice they have into it. Regardless I tried to keep an open mind but a different waitress came to take my order and we rude and almost disgusted that she had todo her job. The rest of the food was pretty good. I dont think that I will be returning though after this experience
Mall location. AMAZING cocktails. If you want a real surprise order the Mango blended drink with chamoy. It has a really long name. They forgot our food and we were late to our movie. We said we were going to a movie when we sat down. We almost cancelled the order, but they managed to prepare it as we were needing to leave. Ate quickly and didn't finish food. The Mexican shrimp cocktail was warm in temp. and not spicy. No hot sauce near by. The bartender was kinda slow on drinks, and forgot our order? Or the kitchen was busy doing side work? Great drinks, bad food service. This was during the day. Not busy. That's not why the food was delayed. I find service tends to be slower when it's not busy in a place, but 40+ minutes for apps? As we were leaving we saw people eating that had just been seated.
We ordered a shrimp cocktail and wow!!! Very disappointed. It had so much ketchup in it, it was way too sweet. The chicken with mango was ok but they also put a sweet sauce on it that made it taste bad.
Mexican food in the mall, how good can it be? It turns out this was amazing food. Seeing and smelling the food pass us by as we were waiting blew me away. I ordered the Molcajete Supremo as I figured that looks different why not. WOW it was REALLY good. The flavor was very different from your typical Mexican food taste. I only ate less than half as there may have been over two pounds of meat in there and different veggies including grilled cactus. The spice was just right until I ate one of the grilled chili peppers. The hand made tortillas were fantastic. Very friendly service even for a crowded Saturday night. Big screens were on to catch the game. It is the place for people visiting Hanford.
Had the michelada and some chicharon tacos and they did not disappoint.
Our favorite Mexican restaurant in Hanford. We absolutely love taco Tuesday but they have great food anytime. Food is fresh, delicious, and a good price. The staff is super friendly and they do everything they can to give you a great dining experience. I also love that they have karaoke some nights.
Zelante was an awesome host. The food was ok. We accidentally left our to go boxes and went back within 3 minutes to get it and they threw it in the trash. I had only eaten one bite of my tostada salad, and my sons left a plate and a half worth of taquitos. Needless to say I am not happy and calling my bank to cancel the transaction.
