Queens Royal Park in Niagara-on-the-Lake is a tranquil oasis overlooking the mesmerizing Niagara River. Its lush green spaces, stunning flower gardens, and benches offer a perfect spot for relaxation and contemplation. With breathtaking views of the river and sailboats passing by, it's a serene escape amidst the town's beauty. In addition to its serene ambiance, Queens Royal Park is also known for its frequent visitors - the graceful geese that frequent the area, adding a touch of wildlife charm. For water sports enthusiasts, kayaking in the Niagara River provides an exhilarating experience, allowing them to explore the waterway's beauty up close while admiring the park's picturesque surroundings.
Beautiful place to just take in the view, breathe some fresh air and have a moment with nature. Great path for walking, lot's of benches to sit and rest and watch the waves and the boats. We saw a lot of dogs on the paths so I believe it is dog friendly. Everyone we encountered was kind and greeted us with salutations and a smile. I love this about Canada!! Overall this is a pristine park, well managed and well kept, gorgeous horizon for the water people, which I am, it's got something for everyone. Restrooms: Very clean restrooms Dog-friendliness: Dogs are welcome, please pick up after them Picnic area: Lots of picnic tables for picnics
It is a beautiful Park to be with the family and friends nice and clean not too far from where we live but it's way too much they asking for the parking $20 per parking they ask way too much to me that's embarrassed like if we don't pay enough taxes the wages are low and on the top of that you want to go have a little bit fun with the kids and family and you can because not everyone can afford to pay $20 per parking it's so sad but reality and that's everywhere you go in Niagara Falls or St Catherine it's so sad. . There is a nice playground pet-free and bathrooms are my goodness very nice and clean I met a gentleman cleaning the men's and women's bathrooms he did such a good job congratulations for him too bad I didn't get his name but it was in the morning it was between 10:00 and 11:00 a.m. Playground: Awesome Dog-friendliness: No problems Picnic area: Nice and clean and a lot of tables
Very scenic park along the Lake Ontario. Park is maintained well and maybe crowded during weekends. Mandatory paid parking. Washrooms are available and it’s very clean and well maintained. Toronto skyline maybe visible if the sky is clear . Some buildings like old Niagara fort at USA side is clearly visible. This place is something unique.
Nice park for a picnic, Or just to sit and relax. There is a small beach but it mostly has pebbles. Make sure to bring your own chairs or sheets If you are visiting on weekends during peak hours. Paid parking is available on the street and in the parking lot. Use the Honk app or your credit card on the machine available to pay for parking. Washrooms are also available on site. Restrooms: Restrooms are available next to the parking lot. Picnic area: There are a lot of benches to sit by the water and next to parking lot, you might need to bring your chairs or sheets because most of the park benches might be occupied during peak hours.
You can kayak and paddle boat. A bit crowded. Lot of paid parking spots available. Swimming is not allowed. Good place to relax and walk. You can see toronto city skyline far away. Restrooms: They are ok not the cleanest Dog-friendliness: Dogs are allowded Picnic area: You can sit and enjoy peace and sunset
Amazing place to enjoy during summer! It has free parking area. The whole niagra city on the lake is amazing and pretttyyy It was fun visiting this place with friends and family. People were doing kayaking and riding the boats ! Also there is walk way area which makes it more beautiful! Place gets bit crowded on weekends. Also, there are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby to the other streets. The garden hill area is best to rest and enjoy the view of sea and also the other side u can see USA
The park is just amazing. The view is breathtaking and Niagara River just reminds me of the beach. It is colder near the water though but every corner of the park is just picture perfect.
A beautiful place to sit and enjoy the lake view. It is not busy when I was there., in the morning. There ate a lot of paid parking on the side of the road. I think, it will be busier during midday and evening hours.
A wonderful area to explore and take an early morning walk while sipping coffee and maybe walking your dog. The view is so peaceful and it is truly an incredible experience to enjoy some quiet time and cherish God's creation.
