We love it here. The Doctors and nurses, especially Dr. Petinos and Dr. Shim are amazing and great with my son. Usually quick in and out appointments and tests results are fast. I wish the main office would answer the phones more versus the answering service but I wouldn't leave the practice because of that. I loved them when they were my Doctors and I love them now for my children. I'm going to be very heartbroken when they retire.
My children want to see doctor and ask me take them to see the doctor when they are not feeling good, because the doctor here make them feel comfortable and my kids trust them. I trust them, my mom trust them too. All the nurses, staff, doctors are so professional, I appreciate them. Thanks to my boss recommended this doctor’s office to me. If you talk to them one time, you will love them.
My 2 daughter had the fever for a duration of 9 days on and off and Jamaica hospital said she’s fine and they missed her having a ear infection but this office found that and helped my baby , thank you for helping my baby she’s back to be active and we are so relieved to know what is it that had her so ill.
Why is SO DIFFICULT to reach someone in order to make an appointment for my child ? This is ridiculous! Been calling a few days now and only getting the automated machine. PICK UP ALREADY !!!
I love that they always call you back right away, one of the doctors are always on call no matter what time it is. I’ve also never had a problem with the staff, everyone is always very nice and professional.
The office staff is nice however my daughter has been a patient since birth she is now 8 and this hospital disappoints everytime. They don't do any in office blood work, you must take your child to a 3rd party testing site. They also no longer call you to inform you that your child is due for their yearly exam as they did before. Instead they wait for you to call and tell you that you have to wait 2 months or longer for an appointment. Smh very disappointed
We’ve been going to this practice since my son was born, he’s 9 now. So far, I’ve only had good experiences. Getting a well appointment can be difficult and you have to make it months in advance but I’ve always been able to get a sick appointment on the same day. Overnight, you can speak to the on call doctor if you have any concerns and they always get back to you within 15-20 minutes if you call the answering service. We’ve had appointments with pretty much every doctor at this practice and have had no complaints so far.
This used to be such a good option for pedicateic care. Since they were taken over by Northwell, this is like every other no good doctor's office in this areas. I called 3 times to get my daughter's vaccine status and no one called me back. Then when I called yelling that my daughter won't be allowed in school, they told me she was missing a sho. When I got there , they are asking me which shot she is missing and then told me she is up to date. What a waste of time and resources.
They are the best!!! I always call on the same day that my twins are sick and i get an appointment 123. They are responsible with paper work need them to sign. They would call me to remind me that is ready. Doctors are amazing and help me with any problem we might have.
Absolutely would not recommend taking your child here. Waiting for my 7 month olds test results, called in the morning they said they had the results, but couldn’t I be told, had to wait for a doctor. Fine, waited and no one got back to me, waited and then called back and told they were closed. So unprofessional. Not to mention always waiting 40 to an hour for simple appointments, that always only last no more than 10 minutes.
