The level of how bad this lab is and the incompetence is dangerous and frightening. They don’t even follow the policies of quest. I understand that the world today does quite a bit by automated systems, but if you are choosing to work at a company then you should know what your own company’s automated system says such as family members being allowed to drop things off and pick things up. They don’t require an appointment for that. That is beyond silly. Additionally, this quest has been having “issues” with not being able to find the lab orders for patients for at least a year. I would think that a large company like quest, especially during a pandemic would get a problem like this fixed by now.
This review is the fault of management and ownership. I will start by saying what little staff they did have are very sweet. Apparently, Quest cannot afford to pay a receptionist. Cheap supplies and inadequate space to guarantee a sterile environment and transfer of bodily fluids. Urine cups with insecure lids stacked with multiple patients and I was directed to place my urine sample in contact with another myself. Receptionist outsourced to a computer that seems to regularly lose appointments, forcing people to check in as "Walk-Ins". As I write this review one patient was told to check in for a second time because the system lost his appointment twice. Technicians in the office are unable i.e. Quest does not allow them to schedule appointments - patients are redirected to an application, phone number, or website. Absolute disgraceful business practices.
As soon as we walked in we found out that although our doctors sent in the lab request “lupe” couldn’t find it on her system, on top of that two out of three of our appointments never went through. As soon as we were called to the room “lupe” refused to work on all three of us claiming that there were too many people while there was only one other person who was getting work done by someone else. She spoke in a completely rude and disrespectful manner.She was so rude we had to get up and leave and we are never going back to this location, they have the rudest staff with no understanding of manners.
They don’t have a receptionist, so once you walk in, you have to wait a long time before you see anyone to ask any kind of question. There are patients that have been here for 30 minutes and no one has come to the front. There are 10 people waiting in the waiting room at this moment And all of them have appointments. You are better off trying another Laboratory.
This is the one of the best quest labs! Nurses are very patient and helpful. Lupe help me today- she was very kind with me. Thank you Lupe. Also there’s a free public park for 2 hrs.
The most incompetent staff in the medical field. I came in without appointment on Friday 4/7/2023. Very rudely she responded: "you will not be served but you can wait all day if you want". Sat for 2 hours but during that both nurses had no patients inside and no one in the waiting room and never called me in. When I inquired she replied: "This is the process, I told you are not getting in". I've been going to Quest for the past 13 years but no more. These 2 nurses really didn't want to work. Obviously Quest trying to save money by hiring substandard and unprofessional staff.
Had an appointment for a blood draw and was in and out in 15 minutes. I was nervous and the staff was extremely nice, prompt and professional, especially LUPE. Definitely recommend!
I was able to make an appointment for my 14 months baby to take a blood test but when I reached there after 1 hour driving they said that they dont have a butterfly needle too take the blood. Why? Can’t you say when I have called to make an appointment?
Unfortunately, The appointment machine not working properly and they don’t have a receptionist, so once you walk in, you have to wait a long time before you see anyone to ask any kind of question. My doctor sent the lab order but they didn't do all the request lab and sent the incomplete lab result. There is no phone number to contact this location. I called Quest Diagnostics several times to talk with a customer service agent but the call was disconnected every time after minutes.
Horrible experience They don’t deserve any star The staff is rude to the patients and take long breaks in between. We used to go to this location all the time and recommend it but never again
