Quincy Regional Airport is a city-owned public airport 12 miles east of Quincy, a city in Adams County, Illinois. It is used for general aviation but also sees American Airlines partner Cape Air with subsidized Essential Air Service flights to Lambert-St. Louis International Airport, a service which is subsidized by the federal government's Essential Air Service program at a cost of $1,956,856.
Federal Aviation Administration records say the airport had 2,044 passenger boardings in calendar year 2008, 1,750 in 2009 and 7,783 in 2010. The National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015 categorized it as a general aviation airport based on enplanements in 2008/2009.
