It's ok. For the record, it's NOT a swimming lake. It's for fishing, and there are not any kayak or anything allowed on it. It's a beautiful area, but within a month of trout season start, it gets overgrown with duck weed, alge and other nasty things due to chicken operations upstream. You will cast out, not catch anything after opening day of trout and spend most of your time removing alge and weeds from your line. I've lived within blocks of this place for the last 20 years and it's only gotten worse over the years... but that being said, it's beautiful but just not for fishing in my opinion.

Once popular fishing hole on its way to drying up. Dam has failed and pond growing murkier through the warm season. This is a good spot to watch heron, ducks, geese and sometimes catch a majestic eagle. Deer, fox and bear frequent the area. Please carry out what you've carried in.
Very nice place but has garbage that needs to be emptied
Great place to go trout fishing!
Fishing was meh, road to get in is very beat up and the place isn't that clean. Most likely will find somewhere else to fish.

Place needs to be stocked more often. After being there for 6 hours and only getting 3 nibbles kinda stinks.
Don't go in july. Algae bloom takes over pond.
