This used to be my go-to place for gas and I had it rated 5 stars for years. But for the last several months or longer this was written on 7/13/2022, more than half of their gas pumps are out of service resulting in obscenely long wait lines. And it doesn't make sense that their gas pumps are out of service due to lack of employees because gas pumps haven't been "open" meaning one can get gas without first paying with a debit or credit card at the pump or paying inside first in well over a decade, if not much longer. So the only conclusion that I can draw is that the gas pumps are broken and they refuse/are too cheap to fix them. Also, with so many pumps closed and the insanely amount of cars waiting and trying to find an open gas pump, it's virtually impossible to park close enough to the air pump to be able to use it. And the few open pumps are ALWAYS either out of receipt paper or their receipt printers are broken. However, this has persisted long, long before they started closing over half the pumps and used to just be a minor inconvenience. Now with so many pumps closed and inoperable, it's just another negative thing about what used to be a great station. And if you have a shortage of employees, the solution is simple -- PAY A FAIR AND LIVABLE WAGE -- and there won't be any shortage of qualified employees who actually know what they are doing -- instead of rude, unknowledgeable, and overworked employees. But if you are too cheap to even fix the broken pumps, I very highly doubt that happening. And they are definitely NOT open 24/7 as advertised.
Thirty plus pumps. Best prices around for gas. Large convenience store with a great variety of food, wonderful boiled peanuts. Anything imaginable to drink. Friendly staff.
Went there Friday around 530am -6am , no food in the food binbiscuits, croissant, etc no pizza either. Went there the following Saturday and Sunday around the same time , they were closed. Big disappointment. I guess they have a staff shortage or the workers are coming in late.
Just to let everyone else know, ever since Hurricane Ida, this location and the one down the road near Causeway are no longer 24 hours. It's due to the fact that there are not enough employees to keep the stores running efficiently and for that reason, they have to close the stores before midnight and open at 6 in the morning.
They didn't have the type of cigarettes I wanted. Not that it was a bad experience, just didn't make me entirely happy. The person working the register did seem pleasant. 5 stars if they'd had my brand..
Yup. It's a racetrac. Ok coffee in a pinch
This place is never open after 9 pm they lock all the doors- had been that way for the past month so if you are not getting gas at the pump, please be aware of that.
The Gas prices are the lowest besides the discount zone up or down the street. Jefferson highway yeah i know if you in the area very decent store and wonderful customer service.
Clean store, and great for everything but buying gas. The card reader at the pumps never seem to work on the first 2nd, 5th etc. attempt. If you get impatient —you may get lucky going to another pump and only having to swipe twice. Tip—stop somewhere else if you just needing gas, unless it’s your last choice.
I like the Racetrack brand. I had a problem with my gas pump and someone came out to help me. And the remodel makes things easier to find.
