The fairgrounds are nice. We are here for a outdoor dog show… the green spaces are well kept with nice trees that actually give some shade. All the buildings we have seen appear well kept, and bathroom facilities are convenient and clean. I like this place.
We had a really nice time. Food was good and there were a pretty good number of options. Lots to see, kids of course loved the demo derby. Only thing I wish had been a little better was parking. Getting into the parking area off of hwy 45 was not great. We hope next year going earlier might help that issue.
Loved the monster truck show! Wish they had accessible bathrooms, though. I have a locked brace on my leg I can not bend it, and I had to leave early because I could not hold it any longer.
The rodeo was super cool. We will be back again next year and had an overall great time at the fair!
Our day was unfortunately cut short by a really bad storm. Had a great time visiting the craft exhibition and the awards they earned. Then we visited all the animal exhibition areas. There was a large variety in each area. Found out the sheep wore coats to keep cool and clean. It was at least 80 outside. The food was excellent and priced as expected. There was one large exception. There was an ice cream trailer that didn't get the memo about putting ice cream in their $9 waffle cones. There was maybe 4 tablespoons of soft bland vanilla something. If I had been with her, that would have been sent back. Storm was bad, but still had a fun time.
Great experience, good food not too crowded and great vendors! I’ll definitely be back next year.
First time at the Racine county fair, and it was alot of fun. Lots of food choices. The fresh lemonade was delicous! The kids really enjoyed all the animal houses, especially the bunnies and chickens!
Visited an event featuring historic tractors and other farm machines. Most either were nicely labeled or had volunteers around to tell about the machines. Limited food available and some crafts but no animals at this event. $7.00 entrance for seniors and free parking. Enjoyed the demonstrations of splitting cedar shingles and corn husking
The Racine County Fair is the best place to be, the cream puffs are delicious juust take that from me. There's so much you can see, bring the whole family to the Racine County Fair. See the animals, ride the rides, throw a hay bail, win a prize, bid the auction, buy some pies at Racine County Fair.
