Stopped here for a visit in town and unknowingly found this train station. It is a small station with a small-sized parking lot, few benches and a historic rail museum. It appears this line has stops to Port Jervis & Suffern, NY as well as to Hoboken. The station is well-maintained and within close proximity to public transportation and shopping plazas.
This is a big station, some trains are going Express to Radburn from Secaucus. You can wait inside the station in cold/rainy/hot weather except for weekends. Also there is a real person behind the counter in business hours so you could ask questions or buy tickets with real person. Huge park and ride lot helps to the commuters that are not living nearby total three paid parking lots near the station.
Always late and PA is horrible.
Almost no amenities. When waiting for a train there is one small overhead that is too narrow so it doesn’t protect you from rain or snow. The benches are away from the train tracks and not covered.
The station is very small and old and it looks run down. NJ transit this station needs to be renovated
Every morning rain or shine wait for the trainand go to work
