I got my hair dyed blonde here. Everyone always asks me if I did it myself. The stylist started putting the bleach on one side of my head and made her way around to the other, so one side is significantly lighter than the other. Also definitely didn’t get the style I asked for.

I just got my hair & eyebrows done here within a half hour of calling for appt. I hadn't had my hair or eyebrows done for 9 months and I was nearly all grey and my eyebrows were starting to become one. I was greeted with a smile from everyone, and thier chairs were so comfy that even when I got my hair washed you get to lay in comfort. Even met the owner who is very hands in and even jumps in when needed. They offer you a drink coffee or water and said they even have wine on Thursday's. Best part was the FREE mini facial that you receive each time you get a shampoo. There are no hidden costs and they are a non tipping salon so prices are definitely reasonable. For a cut, color, shampoo, dryer, and eyebrows I paid $138.00 I am going back next week for a full 60 min facial and in 6 weeks I will be back to get my hair & brows done. Very happy today! Feel like a new woman!

WOW. DO NOT GO HERE. I am shocked about how this place ruined my sister’s hair and doesn’t give a heck about their customers. I have never seen such a bad hair job in my entire life. I was with my sis when she visited the Salem location to see Elyse and I was part of the conversation they had about how my sister wanted lighter blonde/Scandinavian style hair. My sister already had very blonde highlights, and she mainly asked about her dark roots to be covered up/add more highlights to make her overall appearance blonder. Elyse didn’t ask many questions, nodded and it totally seemed like this was doable. She then added color to my sisters roots plus did the highlights at the same time. My sister was surprised and said “I didn’t know it was ok to do that right at the same time”, but we thought Elyse knew what she was doing. I had to leave my sister after about an hour and received a call from her after she had left Radiance. She said she is totally traumatized by what her hair looks like. I went to see her and I gotta tell you: RADIANCE’s WORK IS RIDICULOUS. Her already blonde hair turned into a mix of ORANGE, PURPLE and PINK. A totally dirty look – imagine a tie dye tee shirt washed with your white laundry and this is what you get. Roots of my sister are orange, in the length of the hair is was purple, dirty spots everywhere and all the blonde highlights she previously had received an “overall layer of pink”. I have never seen such a bad hair job in my entire life. My sister told me this “hair style” cost $228 and she doesn’t know what to do. She fears she will need to spend another $200 or so to rescue what's left of her hair plus it will probably take a year or so to get the orange out. She will have to darken it down to cover the pink and purple = opposite of her original goal. Radiance/Elyse completely screwed up and they have no idea how to use color. I called the store on my sister’s behalf and asked for a refund “sorry, we don’t do refunds, but your sis can come back and we can fix it.. she can go to another stylist”, my sister doesn’t want to take a chance, burnt once, would you go back a second time to perhaps lose all your hair?? “Well, sorry that’s all we can do”. I then ask why the price was so high. $228 apparently, this already included a discount, for screwing up someone’s hair, having to deal with ruined color for about a year or so?? I’m honestly speechless about how much this place doesn’t care about their customers, shrug and move on. Will not go again and won't recommend.

I’m so sad that the Salem shop closed down. I’ve been going to Trish for years. She always gives me the most striking gorgeous haircuts. The salon is beautiful and spotless.

I love a tip-free environment. And while I think it's better for everyone,, I'd suffer with tips for the great stylists at the Salem location can't speak for Marblehead.

I've always had great experiences with Radiance. They're great! Hair cuts and waxing has always had wonderful results. I highly recommend them!

This salon makes me feel and look fabulous. great vibe and skilled staff.

Always a pleasure to be there! Everyone's upbeat, positive, encouraging, and understanding. They truly listen to customers, and make wishes become reality!

We have been going here for 2 years. My old rating was 5 starts and I had said "Great place!" Not anymore. Just visited with my 5 year old son and had a horrific experience with a stylist named Corey. She was rude to us when we got there, continued being rude to my son in the chair and got angry with him when he reacted badly to being stabbed with scissors. She then pushed him out of the chair and told me we could come back to finish when he calmed down. Then she charged me!! I wouldn't have paid but I was shell shocked by the whole experience and just handed her my card. We will never go back here again.

I had a wonderful experience for the second time at Radiance Salon my hairdresser was absolutely wonderful sincerely, T. Christopher Doherty
