Radio Daze, LLC. is all about the golden age of electronics - the 1920's through the early 1960’s - when vacuum tube based consumer electronics reigned supreme.
During this era, millions of radios such as battery sets, cathedrals, tombstones, consoles, and catalin and bakelite table models were produced by hundreds of companies worldwide - including behemoths such as RCA, Philco, General Electric and Zenith to name just a few. It was also the affectionately known “boat anchor” period of amateur radio communications with classic gear from premier suppliers such as Collins, Hallicrafters, Hammarlund, Heathkit, Johnson and National. In addition, during this era, the whole world of high-fidelity audio came into being based upon the quality sound of equipment from McIntosh, H.H. Scott, Marantz, Fisher and others.
Although most of the vintage pieces of the vacuum tube era have long since vanished, many still remain as "living" examples of the quality and charm of products from this nostalgic period.
The Radio Daze team of seasoned electronics industry professionals is dedicated to helping restore the golden age examples that remain with us today back to as close to their original condition as possible.
We directly provide electronic repair, restoration and refinishing services for the equipment (Console & Tabletop Radios, Amateur Radios, Antique Car Radios, and Jukeboxes) of the era.
