The staff is always friendly and very knowledgeable; they have an old- school customer service attitude which is rare and appreciated. They could stock a few more items, but maybe it isn't profitable when technology changes so fast. I always try Warrenton Radio Shack first before going to Fred Meyer because they are always on point.
Take my anecdote with a grain of salt; it's been a while and perhaps if I brought my phone in today I'd be telling another story. Apparently, if searching online is any indication, Radioshack offers some repair services for Galaxy phones since 2014. That would've been nice since that's just about when I shattered my first phone screen not the glass, the screen underneath and brought it in to see if they could pull all the data off of it. They had a service there for this purpose but since the screen was broken we couldn't unlock my phone so they were unable to do the data transfer. The employee talked me out of connecting it temporarily to another phone's screen which they insisted wouldn't work. Well I guess I was dumb for just sending it back to the insurance company the next day gave me a fresh phone, didn't get to keep my data because that WAS the solution. Even if they were unable to help with a repair in-house that's fine; couldn't transfer my data that's fine; but to talk me out of a good solution doesn't leave a great taste in my mouth. I wish the employee had perhaps suggested I order the part online or even ordered it for me, or suggest a nearby phone repair shop instead declaring my data lost forever. I don't blame the employee for the loss of my data; all of this is on me, but when you walk into a store that's mostly phone cases and they have services like memory transfer they project a certain air of expertise so I trusted this grave prognosis. RadioShack offers other electronic parts and sodering equipment so I wouldn't expect a self-solution like connecting a phone to another screen to be knocked so readily. Other than that, I later had a good experience with a different employee who helped me find a sturdy phone case in my price range and did an excellent job putting the screen protector on for me perfectly aligned, no bubbles. I haven't gone in the store for anything unrelated to phones so I'm not sure about their other services and products.
Best radio shack I've ever been in. Privately owned franchise store and so the owner, who seriously knows his stuff, gets to stock what he wants. I wish I lived nearer. Very cool inventory and great staff.
This radioshack is awesome. They are one of the few Radioshacks I've visited that actually sells individual electronic parts like motors, switches, transistors, diodes, etc. Friendly customer service, and they're more than willing to help you with your project.
Cashier was smart and knew his prouct didnt throw me out at closing like most stores. Even though I wasn't buying at the time he was helpfull. Thanks
Very inform and helpful staff. I am always great by name for all employees. Only place I shop for electronics.
This is the store to get the Electronics you need, just like an old Radio Shack. Stop by and start repairing your stuff.
Very helpful staff couldn't ask for a better experience
