I walked in today and Mike was very helpful. I bought a new case for my Verizon phone. Who needs Steve when you got Mike.John was very helpful and very knowledgeable about the products and services that radio shack offered. He sold me my verizon home phone service today and saved me $20/month. What a great deal and the unit was free!!!
I used to work there.I knew Steve very well, heck he was a good friend to me while I was there. I can tell you they dont care about you the customer anymore, its ALL about the profit now you cant trust what they say. If an Associate doesn't make a cell phone sale in a week or two can't remember they are let go, so the pressure is on to sell you something you dont want or need. They dont know anything sadly when it comes to parts or technical questions without reading the box, they just say "well mike knows but I can check when he will be in next". And Steve NEVER RETIRED, he was about to be fired over some trumped up BS about his store numbers not being as good as last year, so he QUIT to keep some dignity. They don't care about loyalty, seniority when it comes to their employees. Sorry for the rant but people need to know the TRUTH and its high time someone said something. I go under a fake name also, so I dont have this come back to bite me. Thanks! :
Whoami: What do you mean by "Want to be helped", I WANTED to be helped but these people know nothing of what they are selling and can't help people because they are too stupid to help. Yes I have a life unlike you - i'm guessing you're either an employee or someone paid by them to write a good review - funny how 3 good reviews just happen to show up after I left them a very honest negative review. Howabout you go walk with your "confidence" off a cliff somewhere. This place is going down hill recently. They hired a new black guy that now is working on his own in there. The guy is completely stupid and doesn't know a thing. If you ask about something anything he claims he's "Never seen that before" and one time almost gave me a totally incorrect power supply but fortunately another employee stepped in to help out. The dude belongs working at a McDonalds if that NOT a RadioShack. WHAT HAPPENED TO STEVE? That dude knew everything! I also went in there last week and spoke to another black guy who's name I believe is John? He was just as dumb and told me they'd get the power supply I needed in Tuesday or Thursday of the beginning of April, well weeks later and still no power supply and no call, the manager also didn't have one transferred from another store that had one like he promised. I had called them and they couldn't give me an answer as to where it is and when I told them how disappointed I was in their customer service they just sat on the phone silently all I could hear is crickets in the background if there were any, they honestly could CARE LESS!
