Went by at 10 and 11 am today. Store was locked and no one there. Called at 4:30 PM with no answer. Assume this is another mysteriously closing Radio Shack. Ordered what I needed from Amazon and will not waste any more time going to Radio Shack.
This is a pathetic excuse of a business. It's just a matter of time before Amazon makes this place obsolete. Surprised they're not already. The ONE competitive advantage they have over Amazon i.e. face-to-face customer service is a joke. Completely unprofessional, no knowledge of the few products they do offer, and just aloof. Maybe they can see what's eminent and just say eff it. So, let me assist by continuing to use my Amazon prime with same-day freakin delivery.
They have a mediocre selection of electronics and electronic components. However the staff is friendly and willing to help you find whatever you need. It would be very beneficial if the staff was more knowledgeable about the products that they sell and the purposes of said products.
I called this place to see if they had a part in stock. They said they did have it and then gave me a price. After driving there to purchase the product, they did not have it. Wasted my time and gas.
Major emphasis on cell phones then should be. Staff was somewhat knowledgeable about tech and DIY items.
Was good at one time. Keeps slipping further away.
