Ordered a phone online through sprint . After more than 4 hours I had to leave for a meeting was told the store would be open until 9 pm. We arrived back at 7:50pm .the same guy who helped me before met me at the door to explanation they closed at 8pm and he had already shut the drawer down so he couldn't do any more transactions until the following day. This is highly unprofessional. You tell me 9pm then close at 8 and actually close at 7:40
Completely useless staff with no technical ability. Surprising lack of radios, you would think they would have a good selection and variety, more of a novelty than a complaint. This chain hasn't heard of Amazon yet, soon they will be crushed by them, very soon.
Nobody else had the iPhone 4 at that time either Matt. It was a hard to find phone. I was able to get one within 30 days. Also, they didn't offer pre-orders, they only offered reservations, and if you don't go in for your reservation, they give it to someone else. Next time show up for your reservation and you'll probably get one.
Their people there were incredibly unhelpful. Just kept bombarding me with things he wanted me to buy. Everything is much more expensive then many of their competitors.
Closed now. But it was an ok store especially if you needed an obscure cable or some electronic supplies. Prices were too high for my liking though.
I love RadioShack for encouraging STEM awareness and tools for all. The worker, maybe store manager, wasn't very pleasant, though.
