Mission

We provide the best possible preventative, medical and surgical care for dogs, cats, birds, and non-traditional pets.

"Your exotic and companion pet veterinary hospital.Radnor Veterinary Hospital was founded in 1981 in an old Victorian house in the heart of Wayne where one doctor provided care and boarding for just dogs and cats. In 2001, Dr. Len Donato came in and began seeing rabbits, birds, rodents, reptiles and other exotic pets. Our hospital provides care to many different types of exotic pets and wildlife. In October of 2011, we moved our hospital to a much larger more modern facility across the street. Our new building was once an old mill that trains used to drive directly through to deliver lumber and coal. Our large hospital allows us to provide even better patient care with the latest advanced equipment."

I drove over 2 hours to get to this veterinary hospital. I will continue to make the drive without hesitation, the quality of care they provide is beyond amazing. I will be taking all of my animals here from now on and would highly recommend Radnor Veterinary Hospital to anyone who cares about their animals health and quality of life. They are not only professional but they are polite and understanding, most importantly they are helpful and have a great understanding for the work they do.
I was able to schedule an appointment via email which was SO helpful since I have social anxiety. All the staff was super friendly, kind, and understanding. A ferret care group I'm in recommended this vet to me and it felt so nice to know Bonnie was in good hands with a doctor that knows ferrets. They also didn't have to put her under anesthesia to give her the implant which was very relieving!! The building was super clean and professional too- just everything about this place was perfect!
Dr. Shirosky was empathetic, kind, caring, and educational when it came to my two cats. The whole experience was timely & efficient. I've had experiences with other vets that were terrible, and made me not want to trust anyone with the care of my cats. Dr. Shirosky restored my faith - I could not rave enough about how safe she made me feel as well as the cats. I've never seen them so calm and accepting with a stranger. I appreciated the reminder emails and texts, and the app available as well. There was also plenty of availability, and I appreciated the later appointment times as I also work late. Thank you for an exceptional experience!
We don’t use Radnor vet for our own pets but we’re considering switching! We’ve been fostering a litter of kittens and the rescue uses Radnor vet. Every experience I have had thus far has been amazing. The front office staff are both accommodating and professional and the vets spend more than 5 minutes with you- they listen and hear your concerns. The facility is spotless and they have separate waiting areas for dogs and cats. 10/10 would recommend.
I don’t know how to put into words the amount of love, kindness, respect, care, and so much more!!! EVERYONE at Radnor Veterinary Hospital were truly amazing when it came to the difficult times of having to put Skittles Marie8-2-22 and Thomas O’Malley10-19-21 to rest and ease the pain they had been in. I can’t say thank you enough for being so gentle with them and also easing mine and my families pain.
Dr. Ehrlich came highly recommended from a bunny rescue and she is great! She explained everything as she went through the examination and answered all of our questions. Her staff is also awesome, They trimmed our bun’s nails with us to teach us the best way to do so. Could not have been happier with the appointment and follow up!
All the physicians I’ve seen here are excellent. They have excellent bedside manner, listen to my concerns and take care of my babies as if they were their own. We used to see Dr. Asklof before she left the practice, now we see Dr. Tomasson. Both have been wonderful and we couldn’t ask for better. The front desk staff and techs are usually friendly too which is something that seems to lack at other vet offices we’ve been to so that’s a nice extra perk. The prices are affordable here as well which is very much appreciated. Overall, I’ve never had a bad experience while my pets have been under their care.
Our hamster, Tater Tot passed away naturally on Wednesday morning. We're heartbroken to lose him. He was a lot more than 'just' a hamster - he was a loving companion and a sensitive little soul: friendly and sweet with everyone he met. We're so grateful to Radnor Veterinary Hospital for seeing him so promptly on Monday. Although the diagnosis we received was desperately sad, your team's expertise, kindness and professionalism gave us peace of mind and an opportunity to support him in his last days. The pain med and antibiotic you prescribed definitely helped him... He was quite a sprightly little chap in his last 24 hours all things considered and he was able to enjoy some of his favorite foods and respond warmly to cuddles and kisses from us all. Can't thank you enough.
The entire staff at Radnor Veterinary Hospital staff is friendly and courteous. Appts are on time. Vets and Vet Techs are always attentive to the care of my cat Max. I highly recommend Radnor Veterinary Hospital for the care of your pets.
We love Radnor Vet. They have taken care of all of our animals for years and years. From our golden retrievers to our cockatiel to our daughter's tiniest hamsters... They are the BEST!
