While they did have everything I wanted here, I didn’t feel very welcomed as a customer. I needed an edge brush and they keep them in a plastic container on the counter. I reached in to grab one and the owner hurriedly took it and said “I get for you”. Two things: 1. If you don’t want people to get their own, keep them BEHIND the counter-not ON it, and 2. I had on $600 sunglasses, but they REALLY thought I wanted to walk off with $1.50 edge brush? Laughable really.
Literally the WORST costumer service ever. The man was so rude very little communication skills lack of respect from both owners they were in a rush to get me out and take my money and I wasn’t even in there for 4 minutes they were watching me like hawks like I was trying to steal. This is very common in the black community with hair stores in Baltimore. Please if you’re black do not go here to spend your money they don’t care about our kind. The wig that I brought was $70 it smelled like fish and it looked used already not even a hour later I tried to take it back and get another one and they told me they don’t do refunds or exchanges. Literally a day before my birthday and this is making me so upset that I came here to spend my hard earned money thinking they were nice people. This hair store sucks. I recommend the one a little down the street I was treated with honest respect from both owners they were nice and didn’t pay me no mind I was so comfortable looking around.
Very poor customer service and rude shop owners. When I read reviews prior to checking this beauty supply store out, I was expecting great friendly service. What I found was owners that treated customers very poorly. I also witnessed a "regular" customer, I'm assuming she was a regular based on the conversation she was having, treated in a dismissive manner. Not sure if these positive reviews are from people that don't realize they are being treated with disrespect. Iunderstand that theft happens, but to treat all customers like they are there to rob them blind is a horrible way to conduct business. My advice is take your money elsewhere.
Very rude customer service. The man that works there is awful and has poor communication with the community that patronizes his his business. The store is not stocked with up-to-date items yet he always has a nasty attitude. signs all over the place about fees and prices and yet has bad disposition.
Small shop but clean and open. They have lots of wigs and wig hair products, weave, braid hair, and accessories. They have a small section of hair products but the prices are reasonable. Owners seem nice and are helpful, they don't make you feel uncomfortable while you shop. Will definitely be back to buy more products.
Purchased a wig and when I got home and took it out of it's package it was not the same wig that I saw in the store. The color and style was wrong. I took the wig back to the store and told the manager that I was given the wrong wig. He took it out of the package and proceeded to tell me that it was the wig that I picked out. He even put it on a wig stand and put it beside the one that I thought I had purchased, clearly they were not the same wig, but the manager seemed to think so. Despite my complaint he refused to exchange it for the one I wanted. I will never make another purchase from them again. No customer satisfaction. They are very inflexible. If you are purchasing a wig, remove it from the package and examine it to make sure it is the same wig.
The staff was really helpful and very pleasant. I actually called first for a specific product, and they were very knowledgeable about what I described. The big plus is that they are open on Sunday's. I will go there again for my beauty products needs. Check them out yall.
I recommend this store. They are very well organized and have great prices. Always helpful when I need help founding product that I need. I will definitely bring my business here.
I've been going here since 2015. ALWAYS well organized and great customer service There's several other beauty marts on the same street but Rainbow has always been my preference
