Property looked abandoned with 3 cars in the entire parking lot in the middle of a very bad neighborhood and very suspicious individuals loitering around main entrance. About 50% of the windows swing windows that someone could enter the building through including main floor were open which was very odd and appeared to be open for ventilation after bedbug fumigation based on info from other reviews. Very lame excuse of something wrong with the air conditioning was given, but for security purposes, the main floor should not have been open like that. On top of the lack of cars at the main hotel, the nightclub/restaurant parking lot in the back of the building seemed shut down on a Saturday around 6:15pm. We chose the option to pay at hotel but directly at check in time, we were charged for the stay even though we didn't arrive for 2 more hours. Staff refused refund and I was charged for the stay even though I did not check in. The only reason I booked this hotel was because of a positive stay years ago and things have obviously changed. Avoid this property if possible.
The worst hotel ever. It started bad when the keys would not open our room and she had to open our room with the master key. The room smells bad, there’s hair on the sheets. We couldn’t even sit on the chairs that were disgusting. We asked to change the sheets and they ignored us. We also asked for a refund that they didn’t accept. Expedia called them and they told Expedia that they don’t refund. Liz was very nice in the beginning when I talked on the phone with her and when we came in, but when we started complaining she became very rude. Rooms: Very dirty they don’t change the sheets and smells bad
Very unprofessional and rude place to be. We had to change rooms 4 times since the air conditioning was not working. Room phones were inactive for service calls and even keys were broken. Spoke to the owner in morning with a very unfriendly answer by him. Front desk staff was very rude. SKIP THIS PLACE. VERY BAD. Owner has to be more polite and professional. He just didn’t care for the customers. I would rather give him a 0 star, but that’s not an option. So giving 1 star.
The employees were extremely friendly and helpful. Each staff person we met went out of his/her way to help us. The physical facility is old and worn hard. The sensors on door locks broken. There was a can of flea spray in the room. Glad it was used before our visit? To emphasize: staff=great Ownership should spend some $ making rooms nicer free breakfast, but you get what you pay for. There is a coffee maker in the room, but bring your own cups. 15 min from GVSU
Had to stay in Saginaw for work and i highly recommended the Ramada. For a fair price i had excellent customer service, breakfast and the beds were sooooo comfortable. Wouldn't mind staying another night if working on the area again.Rooms: 5/5
The staff was friendly, and the price was nice, but the room was not clean, the breakfast wasn't very good mushy eggs, white hash browns, and stale cookies... That's it, and the location if the hotel is awkward. If I stay in the area in the future, i won't be staying here.Rooms: 3/5
We were in town for a wedding and chose to stay here based on prior stays at Wyndham hotels. The staff was polite and friendly. The beds were so comfortable! The woodwork inside is absolutely beautiful. We were disappointed that the breakfast options were very slimmed down. There were NO cinnamon buns for breakfast. Please, please, please bring them back.
This property was a total catfish. The room was absolutely disgusting from the moment we walked in. There was chewing tobacco and hair ties on the floor and the tile was sticky. I don’t think they cleaned the room between guests.Rooms: 1/5
Attended a family event at the conference center and was saddened that there was no air conditioner. I know that my family spent a lot of money to rent the conference room for 5hours with no air conditioning. Did not sleep here because only 2star hotel. We stayed at a hotel 10mins away close to the mall.Location: 2/5
