Ramtown Fire Company, Station 19-4. Howell Township, Monmouth County, New Jersey.
Welcome to the Official Facebook page of the Ramtown Fire Company, Station 19-4.
The Ramtown Fire Company is a 100% volunteer company primarily serving the southeast section of Howell Township. We also respond to assist neighboring fire districts in town, as well as other surrounding towns, when requested.
Our fire district is primarily residential, as well as the Howell Middle School South, Ramtown Elementary School, Greenville Elementary School, a JCP&L sub-station, a few large commercial buildings closer to our district borders, and some pretty busy roads and highway.
The Ramtown Fire Company was founded in 1948, but the exact date is unknown due the records from back then being lost. The company has been constantly growing ever since, just like the population of Ramtown, with new houses always being built.
Our company is one of 5 companies in Howell Township. We respond to most emergencies in the district, including, but not limited to, all types of fires, smoke conditions, fire and carbon monoxide alarms. We provide extrication for motor vehicle accidents and also respond to medical calls to assist the first aid squads. All members are certified first responders and some are EMTs.
We currently have about 40 active members, and 7 junior firefighters. We are always seeking new members to join the fire company. If you are interested in joining, you can call us at 732-458-0222. If nobody answers then leave a message and someone will get back to you. Or you can stop by on a Tuesday night around 7 pm.
