This is the best vet ever after spending hours in a different urgent care and nothing being done for my cat, this vet saw my cat between appointments and gave him the best care and the vet even sent me videos of him feeding my cat after his procedure to let me know everything was ok. This vet is affordable and the best care you could have for your pet.
We brought our family dog to the Rancho Bernardo Pet Hospital and had a great experience with them. They carefully explained all procedures and options, and we and our pet were treated with kindness and professionalism. Their prices are reasonable, and I feel like our dog is getting quality care. I would highly recommend them.
We had been searching for the best veterinarian service in our area for our, Beau! We had not been happy with the ones that we had tried in the past three years - and are so pleased with Rancho Bernardo Pet Hospital. They are a caring group, and the doctor there is excellent!!
My dog had had some kind of skin issue on his elbow for a few weeks, but never seemed to bothered him. I had been planning on making an appointment with the vet, but have been so busy with other things. This afternoon I was grabbing some lunch in the plaza and I happened to have my dog with me. I figured I would stop in quick and show the receptionist a photo to see if it warranted a more urgent visit. She asked one of the veterinarians who was in the clinic but not actually working to look at the photo. He insisted that we go out to my vehicle and take a look at Maverick. He did a very quick assessment and gave me recommendations on the spot. I am super appreciative for that and they’ve made us and any future fur baby’s patients for life!
We've only taken our little guy to the RBPH a few times for medical-related visits - dental work which required anesthesia and several booster shots - but we take him to be bathed and groomed every few weeks. No matter the reason for the visit, the staff is always welcoming and professional. Though more than ready to be picked up, he's always in good spirits and is happy and healthy. The prices may be a little higher than you would pay if you shopped around, but the service you'll get and the treatment your pet will receive is always top notch at the RBPH.
This is now my vet of choice for my cat and dog. They are caring and communicate really well with me as a pet owner.
I want to start off by saying that Rancho Bernardo Pet Hospital has been an incredible light during a very hard time for our family. Our family dog was stolen from us 7 years ago, he was recently found all the way in North Carolina after a passerby found him stranded on the side of a rural road. I flew to NC and brought him back to San Diego where we are currently stationed but whoever he had been with for those 7 years was not taking care of him whatsoever and I found out that he needed serious dental work done. Dogs are suppose to have 42 teeth, when I brought my dog back from NC he only had 20 his teeth had rotted, and were literally falling out of his mouth. I brought him to the Rancho Bernardo Pet Hospital and as soon as I walked through the door we were swept in by loving arms. Every single one of the staff members at this facility care deeply about the health and happiness of each animal who walks through their doors. They have been nothing but kind to our family and my dog Bemis has quickly fallen in love with their manager Rebecca, he stops his shaking and whining as soon as he sees her! Our sweet boy only has 2 teeth now, but the work they did to make Bemis feel better surpassed my expectations and now we have a healthy and happy dog yet again. I will suggest this pet hospital to anyone and everyone who needs a new place to take their pooch for medical care. Thank you everyone at the Rancho Bernardo Pet Hospital.
We met Dr. Sondhi and his great staff when our Great Pyrnees puppy, Captain, starting limping. At 8 months, he's already 88+ lbs, so we were worried that it could be something more serious than simple growing pains. Dr. Sondhi took the time to explain possible causes, drew diagrams and looked up reference material specific to this breed. He performed thorough range of motion tests on Captain's limbs something his prior vet failed to do. Dr. Sondhi takes his time and has a great bedside manner with animals. His front and back office staff is also very attentive and loving with their patients. We are very pleased that in Captain's case, after x-rays, it was a simple case of tendinitis. Glad to have found a reliable, honest practice that will care for our furry friend for years to come.
